  1. W h a t a m a t c h! Luckily for him, Nadal is going to have two days to recover for the semifinal match. But what a fighter! Thiem surprised me a lot, such a pity for that third set.
  2. This word "Jebi" means something quite different in most of the Slavic languages
  3. I really cannot describe how much that annoys me And it always happens to the players I like. At least Bertens still has great chance to qualify for Singapore! Kvitova I guess is already there, especially now when she's gonna explode in Wuhan Who cares for Wimbledon and US Open!
  4. Kiki, you idiot, what opportunity for at least QF you missed
  5. Btw, I am SO disappointed in Vondroušova -.-
  6. One can always find videos from the matches in 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and can try make some comparison. It is clear that tennis evolved. And all that "best ever" is just for the media and attention. I simply cannot compare wooden racket tennis era with the modern. Yes, Federer, Djokovic and Nadal are simply one of the greatest. There were players that could beat them once in a while but simply the couldn't do so in a long run. Their overall talent and mentality set them apart from the rest. And yes, there are many, many talented players but in sport, mentality and work ethic is as important as the talent. How one can say they are not? You watch Nadal and look what everything Khachanov threw on him and couldn't win more than one set! Nadal's will to win is something remarkable. Federer's talent and ease of play is really something to watch. Djokovic on the other hand is all around and his peak days you needed all kind of weapons to beat him. Even then, you hae two match points and bam, he strikes two return winners and turns the match on his side Serena is great, no doubt, but I have to be honest and admit that the WTA level in 2010s have been very low. Few exceptions are years 2012 and to some extent 2013.
  7. Most Grand Slam Quarter-finals of Open Era 1 @RogerFederer 53 2 @DjokerNole 42 3 @JimmyConnors 41 T4 @RafaelNadal 36 T4 @AndreAgassi 36
  8. Her days will come, no doubt about that Let's hope Vondroušova wins her match now
  9. Firs GS quarterfinal for Osaka The match was so good at some point!
  10. Of course Vondrousova is going to lose to Tsurenko -.-

  17. My thoughts exactly. I'd exchange one Wimbledon title for 10 in Wuhan and Beijing each.
  18. I have no doubts she's gonna explode in Wuhan and maybe Beijing but her results at Slams are really worrying now. After Wimbledon title in 2014 she made only two QFs and two 4th rounds in 15 attempts. I get that sometimes it is simply lack of form, but this year the form is not that bad. I wish she could win at least one more title, Wimbledon or anywhere, she is simply better than her results at slams these days.
  19. Svitolina lost, what a shock To be honest, Kvitova is really close to become new Svitolina
  20. Thiem in US Open QF after such horrible post-RG season
  21. And the bottom half looked very well in my head: quarters with Ostapenko-Kerber and Kvitova/Osaka - Bertens. Looks like I will get CSN-Cibulkova, Sasnovich-Tsurenko at the end
  22. Stepanek will be too old to mess up another talented player. But one never knows
