  1. I don't understand why the interest would be lower for biathlon now than before, it is still many nations competing for the top positions compared to XC skiing. For the other nations behind the absolute best, they should even have better chances now when Russia and Belarus are gone. And there will always be power houses. Germany has a dip now (compared to before). Now Sweden has the best womens team but 2014 we had 0 female participants in the olympics, and even 2018 a top 10 place was a sensation, so even the power houses are not always the same even if they are not changing as often. And even if sometimes the expected ones often win, there is still a chance for MANY competitors in every race.
  2. Hanna of course couldn’t be worse than her boyfriend!
  3. It all depends on what the organisera have decided. Those type of markanta are most often used more to guide the skiiers and they have boards that are used to show where you are not allowed to ski. Sometimes these marks are used also in that purpose as well. So a dsq might be the case depending on the rules for this specific race
  4. This type of marks is usually legal to cross.
  5. It took 47 ECH to miss a medal.
  6. It is too bad Lampic changed sport!
  7. Not the first time Swedish ladies destroy for themselves This time managed to get a double anyway!
  8. Sweden has never in the previous 46 European curling championships failed to get at least one medal. That streak could end today
  9. Danish sensation! 11-2 after 7 ends in the semi. Cant believe this is the same team I saw finishing in last place in the Nordic tour event in Jonkoping, Sweden in October.
  10. Terrible swedish home championships both the men and women. Of course not the regular lineups but still far from okay On the other hand, what to expect when we send the =9th placed team from the national championship
  11. As others Said injured but the team won a Grand slam recently with 3 players without alternate so actually more worried for Team Hasselborg without pregnsnt McManus..
  12. Women´s sprint in Bruksvallarna: 1. Emma Ribom 2. Johanna Hagström 3. Frida Karlsson Dahlqvist and Dyvik in a crash (as well as Karlsson) in the semis. Sundling sick and not participating, and Linn Svahn still injured. Men´s sprint: 1. Calle Halfvarsson 2. Oskar Svensson 3. Alvar Myhlback (16 years old!!)
  13. Just a tuesday lunch curling practice in Stockholm. Me on sheet A, 2018 olympic women Champions on sheet B, Jan Boklöv on sheet C😄
  14. Jan Boklöv invented it, got bad scores for that ”ugly” style. I see him once in a while, he is a recreational curling player now.
  15. If a country/organisation said jews or muslims are not accepted, would you understand then if people would criticize them? Or is it just different types of people that is okay to discriminate?
  16. Is any of that good?
  17. Swedish PM resigns (as she also Did the same day she was elected 9 months Ago before she immediately came back). The parties on the right side Will have 176-173 in the parliament. Nothing is sure though. If the second largest party SD would demand to be part of the governemtn and not only support them, we can be sure that the others and in participating the liberals Will not accept
  18. Yes because the right side need their support to win, they will of course demand some influense but it Will not happend that they will be accepted in the government. The only reason they are so but now is because all other parties have ignored them and created creative solutions to govern wothout their support while not dealing with big problems. I would never support SD but I understand why people vote for them and that is not because they are all racists. And I voted liberal, meaning supporting the same prime minister candidate as SD. But everyone can not just vote and cooperate with the socialists just to avoid SD, then I am afraid they would just get even bigger when people realise they would be the only real opposition. Tbh only SD would for sure be republicans in an american context.
  19. My photos was from me though
  20. They Will not be accepted in a governmwnt but they will be needed to get some influence to support the goverbment that Will most Likely be Moderates and christian demokrats with support from both liberals and Sweden democrats.
  21. Swedish preliminary parliament results (after 92% counted): team ”left”: left party (former communists): 6,4 social democrats: 30,5 green party: 5,0 Center party: 6,7 ”team right” liberals 4,6 christian democrates 5,4 moderates 19,1 sweden democrates (far right populists) 20,6 0.9 in advantage Ulf Kristersson as new Pm for the ”right side” who is only representant the second party on that side but Sweden democrates Will not get the support from other parties. it Will be difficult for either government to cooperate anyways, just look at the GAL TAN table over the parties on each team:
  22. Now the right side took over the lead, nothing is over
  23. Swedish exit polls gives a small advantage to the left side with prime minister Andersson
  24. Right wing party SD Will Likely be 2nd or 3rd biggest with around 20% but even if they cooperate with other parties, the others on the right hand dont want them in the government so they will deifniately not have the Prince minister. social democrats Will as always be largest but it is 50/50 between their current PM Magdalena Andersson and Moderates Ulf Kristersson who Will not be biggest party but they will have support from about 50% of the parlament each. The green party and liberals are just over the 4%-limit and if one of them (on different sides) would be relegated from the parlament that would be devastating for their PM candidate. interesting this year that the liberal party ”Centerpartiet” who always cooperated with Moderates and Liberals and Christian democrates now support social democrates wchich also the left party does. Not that they are Alike, only that they dont want anything to do with SD. But I dont think you can think lime that really. I vote for liberals but that doesnt mean I dont dislike SD a lot.
  25. Do you still have the possibility to choose individual politicians withon the party? Our ballots are full of names instead of parties
