In a great time, too. Would have been silver in Tokyo (also behind Milak), gold in Rio and London (both ahead of Phelps). He ran into two legends in the event, and has a bright future.

If Canada wins here, they will likely face Germany in the quarters. They'd also likely be on the same side of the bracket as the US, but they beat them in Tokyo. Not getting ahead of myself, though.

If Dolci would have replicated his bar score from qualifying he'd be in 10th. Some more work and he could be a contender in LA.

Despite his tragic bar situation, Dolci moves up one spot in the all around from qualifying (21->20) while Cournoyer moves up from 24 to 17. That's good.
