  1. According to our president of the federation 7 Kazakh biathletes are under suspicion after the DNA test.
  2. On this video it looks like Maillet appeared in front of him (while Quentin was moving to the right like he was supposed to) and Fourcade wanted to take Shipulin's position (at 11th second) but Shipulin moved to the right from Loginov and appeared right in front of Fourcade. He had no other choice but to move in front of Loginov. What surprised me is that Loginov kept going closer to the center instead of moving to the left. Unintentionally of course.
  3. Loginov apparently unintentionally didn't turn aside. Russians flied a protest and they watched it from different cameras & admitted there was nothing intentional from Fourcade.
  4. Shipulin: "I lost my respect for Fourcade". Gosh, what a tragedy, the whole world stopped))))) Russian commentator: "Martin, you're a pig!" When you thought that nothing can beat Kazakh screw up. The most DRAMAtic biathlon WCH ever And it's been 1 race only))
  5. Or maybe because the president of Russian biathlon federation wrote a letter to the IBU president where he crapped at all the biathletes he hates including Fourcade brothers? The best proof are their results - nobody performs so well after they stopped taking doping. + Loginov trained with the main team which is prohibited.
  6. People say that Russia was booed. Fourcade wanted to leave the award ceremony. ps. He came back because of his trainer
  7. That accreditation badge in the meds sounds suspicious Didn't they leave their phone numbers & passport data too?
  8. Russia was stripped of the 2021 World Championship. IBU Congress approved the new anti-doping punishment in the rules. The president of Ukrainian federation denied untrue info in Norwegian media. We voted for/supported the new anti-doping rules just like everybody else
  9. Actually it's fair when you compare to same people esp if they have the same dynamics. ps. Now it appeared that he trained with the team at the official venues (I was right! He had to train with the team) all this time and even kept receiving a national stipend whle being banned. What an interesting "ban". Abramova was temporary suspended (not banned) and she was denied all of that. I hate him even more now ps. Woohoo! We've got the new team doctor & Abramova is taking allowed substitude/meds now. I hope she left that Moscow doctor for good.
  10. Such athletes should receive a 4 years ban He could have taken a silver medal in the Antholz individual race with such results! Or 7th-8th in the Ruhpolding sprint. Not suspicious? Exactly the same course time from leaders btw like in his last season. Both didn't even admit their guilt, moreover Starykh kept lying that she doesn't know how it appeared in her system. It will stay forever suspicious to me
  11. Uhuh. Abramova is also in a good age The age means nothing in his case. He had to train somewhere with the team in order to get the needed loads and recovery. He needed competition experience, because everyone needs constant practice. If he doesn't need all of that it's unnatural imo
  12. If they were good on doping they can't be better than that after 2-3 years. I know Abramova's level and she was abscent only a year, she trained, she trained abroad and she still couldn't match her previous conditions. Starykh gave birth to a baby and then trained in Uvat for 2 years. I'll never believe that you can achieve such results with just a trainings. + training on alone with your coach and training with a team are "a little bit" different things.
  13. He knows how to congratulate with a birthday. Good news for Abramova from Lausanne. CAS lifted the last 4 days of her DQ and she can compete at the IBU Cup on Friday. The final decision will be announced on February 2. ps. According to the last control training she was slightly behind Valj Semerenko. Unlike certain team our biathletes don't show unbelievable results when they come back. Even when she skipped just 1 year.
  14. During the flower ceremony Starykh said "See you in Hochfilzen" Getting ready to see Loginov there as well. Ukrainian team left the podium when the Russian anthem started playing (it was supposed to play on the medal ceremony instead). Russian team followed them while the anthem hasn't stopped yet Mess. The most scandalous & ugly results ever - Starykh skipped 3 years, Loginov -2, both perform on the same level/better than on doping
  15. Alina Shukh has just set the new world indoor record U20 in pentathlon - 4550 http://competitions.uaf.org.ua/2017.01.27-28_zaporizhzhia/files/pentathlon.pdf?s=BE8377BC-18A9-4E63-A627-07A839C5BFAF + she's the world leader in the senior category so far & she's got chances to qualify to the ECH.
  16. Awwww. Valj is looking after her nephew Vita's baby at the training in Antholz: https://www.instagram.com/p/BPxHLlJjrhC/ ps. Vita riding with a baby:
  17. As you already know 150 biathletes signed the petition for the IBU Execs. The petition leaked and here are the main suggestions (to change IBU rules): up to 8 years DQ for biathletes more serious fines (up to €1 000 000) of the federations Reducing season quotas of the federations with 1 or more doping offenders Biathletes from such countries signed the petition: Austria Belgium Belarus Canada China Czech Republic Estonia Finland France Great Britain Germany Italy Japan Latvia Lithuania Norway Poland Romania Serbia Slovakia Slovenia Sweden Switzerland Ukraine - 11 Ukrainian biathletes (everyone who were present) & 1 trainer USA Ukrainian federation received a letter from the IBU that they doubt that their own decision for Abramova was right. She was allowed to train with the team. There's a hope that she will be justified. The federation president said that he will rise few questions at the Congress about fair punishment. We want the IBU Medical Commission to move their butts and do their job faster, within 2 months. We agree with tough punishment but it should be equal for everyone. Abramova was DQ-ed for nothing when they had to cancel her results only. Meanwhile certain someone's ban was reduced in half and he wins European Championship (he could win the World Cup with such result, wtf) like nothing happened. ps. Ukraine is the 1st country that bans their biathletes forever in case of a doping abuse. Officially. We've already done that to 1 biathlete. However we don't think that Abramova's case is fair.
  18. Loginov is better than he was on doping. After he missed 2 and a half seasons.
  19. Vita Semerenko will start training with the team in a week. She will come back next season. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C2jmx05XcAIrKaK.jpg Abramova will be a reserve biathlete for WCH. Our federation appealed that doping case in Lausanne. It was the 1st meldonium case. She took it when it hasn't been prohibited & nobody (even WADA scientists) knew that it can take up to 6 months or even longer until it disappears. I'm shocked that people who took it in January were justified and she wasn't We agree that her results should be canceled but her 1 year DQ should be stripped off too. It ends on February 4 anyway but it's a matter of honour. Imho after Zhuzha gave Dzhyma our proud 21st place at the exchange... 90% of Ukrainians buried their hopes Merkushyna improves our mood with every race indeed. Of course we're unsure if she can spend the whole season on a decent level but after this race I'm personally very satisfied with her. As for our reserve I meant Valj Semerenko.. she hasn't trained with the team before come back so her conditions aren't good, to say the least. She's not used to such tense races and her last lap is tragic by her standards. She was supposed to be a reserve biathlete but she started because Varvynets & Pidhrushna are ill (just a lite temperature but trainers decided do not risk before WCH, they will stay in Antholz to catch up). Valj will have to show something better than that after the full pre-season training cycle with the team this summer. We will have so many competitors for the Olympic places next season that she can stay at home.
  20. lol, we had a half team from the reserve and almost got that bronze My family is a little Laura's fan club but her shooting today...
  21. Valj Semerenko will come back in Ruhpolding Not having high hopes though.
  22. Kontiolahti, Finland to host BMW IBU World Cup 8 http://www.biathlonworld.com/news/detail/kontiolahti-finland-to-host-bmw-ibu-world-cup-8
  23. Pryma committed historical breakthrough from 57th to 9th place. Only one man was better than him 12 years ago - Julien Robert (60->10). Thanks to Slovakian coach Juraj Sanitra we can have 3 or 4 men in tomorrow's mass start. Another historical event for our team.
