  1. My scoring stopped with just the last French rider to go.
  2. Ah. of course. I forgot about that! Thanks for the clarification
  3. Italy may have been thrown a lifeline. Although they won't get a quota here, they're ahead of Argentina now. So if Mexico, USA and Brazil are top 3 in Pan America, Italy may sneak in!
  4. I think Tarling wins gold in the men’s TT. Ganna silver and Remco bronze. I think Reusser wins gold in the women’s. Dygart silver and one of the Dutch women wins bronze
  5. I’ll say it again, I don’t see any way GB doesn’t finish in the top 5. It’s between France and Spain for the final spot but both won’t get ahead of GB
  6. I realise some of you traditionalists don’t agree but I really enjoy the kayak cross event
  7. Meanwhile 3 from the slalom canoeists? Don't think many of us saw that coming I thought one (C1) and hoped for men's K1 (as there was 15 spots) but didn't see a women's spot popping up. Great stuff
  8. Interesting one to watch in boxing later today at the tournament in Poland Lisa O'Rourke and Grainne Walsh are in the final against each other. Amy Broadhurst got the nod for the European Games but there's 3 of them going for the one spot there at 66kg
  9. Result are official now fwiw
  10. Hengst of Germany was the quickest down but has a 50s penalty. If that is reversed, Slovakia would be out EDIT: Slovakia would get the Euro spot. As it is Germany would get that so not as dramatic as I thought
  11. Quotas (pending appeals) Slovakia get the last spot!
  12. No quota for hanging on by a thread! (appeals pending)
  13. I'm guessing someone here is updating the wikipedia page!
  14. There’s no host quota for c1 events. Only for men and women k1
  15. Women’s K1 too (through the European Games and Madison Corcoran) Nice for her dad Michael who puts a lot of money into Irish canoeing!
  16. I’ve done the maths too. Theres 19 nations left in the wk1 event with 15 quotas on offer France gets the host spot Andorra, USA and Ukraine only have one entrant left and those individuals have qualified in the C1 event so can’t qualify again (they can compete in both in Paris) So the 15 remaining nations get the available quotas Ireland was 15th ranked at European Games but 14 (inc France) have a quota secured so they get the continental spot
  17. Yes, maybe. I didn't even see that they were tied. I was just looking at the front page of the results If gets the quota the next in line from the European games are and
  18. Pending protests here are the men's C1 quotas gets the European Games quota (where they ranked 2nd!)
  19. has the men's C1 quota anyway so we have at least one boat. Phew
  20. Is this true? I thought it as gone?
  21. Could be a disaster for Ireland. Liam jegou was well on course for qualifying but missed the 3rd last gate and coasted home. All up to Hendrick now
  22. Andorra has its first quota. Monica Doria Vilarrubla has qualified in slalom canoeing in the c1 class
  23. Fwiw I think GB will easily stay in the top 5 and get 4 places. the last spot is between France and Spain but both won’t overtake GB
  24. If the men's K1 heats are repeated, the quotas would go to The European games spot would go to (12th placed nation in European Games) has the host nation quota If the above happened, the Oceania spot might be re-allocated which would see get it. 20 nations are into the semi final so far (including France)
