  1. Sweden already far behind
  2. You're gonna jinx us Edit: yep
  3. What a great race this was, I love this podium Big congratulations to Vittozzi, finally back on top, and with a clear shooting, after the troubles from last week where it looked like her old demons from last season were back. What a great way to bounce back just a few days later! I'm thrilled for Lou Jeanmonnot's first podium I gotta be honest, between the 2 French ""youngsters"", I was expecting Sophie Chauveau to be the first one on a podium, although Lou's season has been really good so far as well, she has more experience in the world cup and she's definitely more consistent in her shooting than Sophie is (who had a bad day on the shooting range today ). And of course I'm happy about Julia Simon's 3rd place which means she wins a few points against Elvira Oeberg and keeps the yellow bib
  4. Nice to see Jakov Fak back on the podium Too bad it didn't happen last week, the crowd would've been ecstatic!
  5. But he will apparently be there for the mass start. He's training with the shooting coach right now.
  6. Yay! France winning with a penalty loop is rare Great day for Switzerland, 3rd place in the single mixed and now 4th in the mixed relay, congrats to them
  7. Switzerland on the podium
  8. Finally QFM is back on the podium that last lap with Tarjei Boe was interesting to watch. Too bad Giacomel missed 2 at the last shooting 5th is still a great result though, his first podium will be coming soon!
  9. On French TV they said it happened once in the 90's, but I sadly don't remember the biathlete's name, it ended in -ov I think (yes I'm sorry for the bad memory )
  10. All the non-Norwegian favorites are missing targets, another Norwegian clean sweep is coming
  11. Here's the full pursuit race if anyone's interested:
  12. Marte Olsbu Røiseland will be back in Pokljuka
  13. The final had an average viewership of 24.1 million in France, with a peak at 29.4 million, and an audience share of 81%. It's an all-time record here
  14. I remember the WC 2006 final all too well...
  15. What the hell, I left my parents' home there was 2-0 and seeing how awful the French were I wasn't sad to not see the end of the game, and I come home 7 minutes later and my mom tells me it's 2-2 now
  16. Yesssss that was awesome
  17. It's over, another Norwegian clean sweep, this is not biathlon this is XC skiing
  18. Go Stalder!! The French's shooting is catastrophic this year (not on the women's side though)
  19. Not another Norwegian clean sweep please
  20. Damn Well at least finally a podium
  21. I think it was more about the skis themselves than the waxing, because QFM was slow but in the same team Guigonnat had the 3rd fastest ski time. Christiansen was impressive today too and they both have the same brand (Salomon). Today if you had Fischer skis you were screwed
  22. Laegreid's show after the last shooting haha Dammit Fabien Still no French on the podium at home this year
  23. Damn, the ONE friday in the entire season where I can't watch biathlon, I miss one of the most exciting pursuits! Seeing 2 Swedes 1st and 2nd and neither of them being an Öberg sister was surprising I mean, Persson being on the podium isn't a surprise, but Magnusson winning when her best result before today had been a 7th place was impressive! And what can I say about Sophie Chauveau finishing 4th, and even being 2nd for a while in the last lap before losing some steam. I gotta say I teared up several times seeing her so happy and emotional and the entire French team congratulating her and being happy for her, and of course the public. What a moment
  24. Well we already know the season on the men's side is gonna be extremely boring...
