I think it was more about the skis themselves than the waxing, because QFM was slow but in the same team Guigonnat had the 3rd fastest ski time. Christiansen was impressive today too and they both have the same brand (Salomon). Today if you had Fischer skis you were screwed

Damn, the ONE friday in the entire season where I can't watch biathlon, I miss one of the most exciting pursuits! Seeing 2 Swedes 1st and 2nd and neither of them being an Öberg sister was surprising I mean, Persson being on the podium isn't a surprise, but Magnusson winning when her best result before today had been a 7th place was impressive! And what can I say about Sophie Chauveau finishing 4th, and even being 2nd for a while in the last lap before losing some steam. I gotta say I teared up several times seeing her so happy and emotional and the entire French team congratulating her and being happy for her, and of course the public. What a moment

Well we already know the season on the men's side is gonna be extremely boring...

She doesn't seem to improve on that point... I would've wanted to see Colombo too, who is at least fast on the skis. This year they're allowed to try new things for the relay without Bescond and Braisaz-Bouchet, so I hope they'll give her a chance soon.

Vincent Defrasne winning the 2006 pursuit against the legend Bjorndalen after almost falling near the end: That one French clean sweep in ski cross in 2014: Florent Manaudou winning 50m freestyle gold in 2012 (I'll never forgive myself for missing this...): I'll probably add more later, and I don't really know if these are actually well remembered in my country but they were definitely memorable for me.

What an exciting race compared to the men's pursuit! I'm gonna be chauvinistic for a bit : first 20/20 for Julia Simon and the victory after starting 16th, Caroline Colombo 20/20 and top 6, her best result ever! Sophie Chauveau 19th despite 3 misses (she had one of the fastest ski times!), so many things to be happy about in this race for this team It's such a relief and a joy to see Vittozzi back at her best level, too bad she missed the podium in the end And Emma Lunder once again in the top 6

Zobel almost threw away the podium in the last meters... but he's 3rd in the end

The fact that we only saw Hartweg once on TV, after the finish line when he's most likely going to be on the podium
