  1. Wait a second?? Didn't we miss the quota by 0.014 finishing in 7th? Only 6 boats could qualify in K2 500, no?
  2. I give zero fucks about Richard, so you couldn't be more wrong
  3. Any day that Duplantis wins is a good day My favourite non-Lithuanian athlete probably.
  4. Due to illegal gun activities, Rastorgujevs got a DQ, so Strolia is now second, Fomin up to fifth. Jesper Nelin gets the bronze.
  5. Lol, Vytautas Strolia 1+0 managed to get a medal here I'm rather more surprised with Maksim Fomin 0+0 in 6th, only 4 seconds behind Vytautas. Hopefully he can showcase it on the snow, with Kaukėnas and Dombrovski in bad form for what feels like decades, Fomin could become our nr. 2
  6. Nice race from Maldonis and Olijnik, keeps our Olympic ambitions afloat.
  7. Seja becomes world champion yet again in K1 200, too bad it's an irrelevant discipline now
  8. Tragic that Lithuania has no stakes in Olympic qualification here, because Asadauskaitė can't qualify twice Huge underperformance in fencing sunk both Venčkauskaitė's and Serapinaitė's chances, so one of them will most likely qualify through UIPM rankings.
  9. And none of them were Europe, we're losing our touch
  10. Some might say that it's not the size that matters
  11. Dariya Derkach would be unstoppable if it was a bowling match, but unfortunately, it's the triple jump final and X X X X X gets you nowhere :/ Sidenote: being the second best European with 14.36, really makes you think what happened to our continent.
  12. I don't know if there is anything more screwed up for an athlete than injuring yourself during a warm up. The thing that you do to avoid injuries
  13. Perhaps whilst assaulting the judges, still not out of question yet
  14. Rojas calls forth her champion abilities to try to become champion once more
  15. So, she was injured or wasn't able to start because she assaulted the judges with a water bottle?
  16. Yup, they literally had a message up yesterday I think that yes, our website is down and will be down until (insert time), we are doing everything we can so you could follow the championships and that's why live results are up, or something along those lines.
  17. For someone that's not watching the live feed right now, did I miss something spicy?
  18. YES PLEASE, if we had 32, then Benkunskas and Juškevičiūtė would be here for Lithuania AND we would definitely finish
  19. CIV qualifies to the women's 4x100m relay final to give possibility for Ta Lou to finish in fourth again
  20. Yulimar Rojas is in trouble of possibly stepping out of the triple jump final earlier than anybody could've expected. 14.33 might not be enough to hold onto the 8th place.
  21. Oh my god, so we can still qualify with two additional boats then at these championships I wonder if our K2 and C2 is successful, will we try to cheese our way into a K1 quota, sending a different rower in that discipline, when the continental qualification for Europe is held.
  22. Someone with a PhD please explain this: So, if by chance Lithuania qualifies in K2, we just lose the qualification spot by default, because Maldonis is already in our K4, and then if we want to send a K2 we'll have to requalify in continental championships with a different team member for the 2 available European spots??
  23. I'm a Lithuanian that's not into basketball what so ever, so I felt nothing I would say I felt horrible and every single canoe sprint athlete felt horrible when they made the 200m distances non-Olympic for men
  24. Yeah, this is probably the happiest that I could be with a 6th place, because it adds four people to our Olympic team and that's already better than our 2020/21 disaster of only a single K1 boat qualifying.
  25. Thank fuck, Edis Matusevičius gives some life to the Lithuanian team. All in all, three final performances for us at these championships.
