    A consistant seires from Matthew Denny at the hobart track classic,a bronze continental tour meet.He was mostly in the 67 meter range,but had one throw go 68.74,by far his best ever season opener,and obviously a world lead. Darcy Miller[21] improved his pb from just a week ago by almost exactly a meter-from 58.82 to 59.81,also had throws of 58.97 and 59.33.

    as for discus comps for the women- ,in germany Marike Steinacker the surprising fourth place finisher at the Paris Olympics,threw over 60 meters four times,and took the world lead with the last throw of 64.12.25 year old leia braunagel impressed as her last three throws went over 61 meters improving on her 60.69 pb from last year,she ended up with 61.49.in european bronze medlaist Liliana Ca opened with 61.88.
