  1. And another bit of bad news in as Viaplay are closing down here - brought us a few good things we don’t get anywhere else. Better news - Pac-12 YouTube Channel is back up!
  2. London on Sunday. https://worldathletics.org/competitions/diamond-league/news/london-meet-hassan-chebet-crouser-richardson-barshim
  3. Have been away from home so behind - two big meets this weekend. Monaco tonight - this last few years has been the meet of the year, but has maybe already been overshadowed this year. https://worldathletics.org/competitions/diamond-league/calendar-results/7154214/entry-list
  4. Woohoo breakaway win in teeth of sprint chase!
  5. Looks to like it was an informal car park before the rails were installed, maybe other vehicles there…..but belonging to people who could read Slovak.
  6. Lucerne meet tonight is on Facebook - big announced draw is the return of Shelly-Anne Fraser-Pryce.
  7. Pogačar in trouble with 15k of climbing to go!
  8. Wout van Aert fastest at the end: top 3 just starting.
  9. There’s the Istvan Gyulai meet from Hungary just about to start. https://forum.athleticsweekly.com/forum/current-events/132-live-streaming-links/page57#post59976
  10. Wouldn’t say so - Potter & Coldwell have been better than Georgia Taylor-Brown this year.
  11. Sorry should have said, makes up big time on the race for third. Obviously P&V are far away.
  12. P & V obsessed with their personal battle - Rodriguez gets the stage win & makes up big time.
  13. Pogačar attacks now, Vignegaard defending! 3k more climbing. Pogačar can’t make it stick, both together again.
  14. Anybody who gets any Q times in timed event anywhere will qualify, I believe. As long as you have an official measurement - ie probably not low-level county sports or the Dushanbe World Classic - then you are in. Dunno about the other sports though.
  15. Probably so. Once a team gets a reputation as a drama team, everyone looks for drama. Certainly lots of mysterious happenings in the ladies, for example.
  16. Whole clutch of abandons subsequently Tom Pidcock the first of the top 10 to crack, will be losing places. Simon Yates next to struggle. Adam Yates now leading out Pogačar & Vignegaard.
  17. I guess at that age athletes do not have the experience to peak twice in a season & of course their NCAA coach is not going to act in anybody else’s interest.
  18. Seedo is a great sprinter but would make a poor poker player.
  19. Running about an hour late - great women’s 400m final
  20. I’m guessing it’s down to the enthusiasm of volunteers & the desire of the Island to be recognized. I remember when I was in a few years ago I saw the men’s cycling team out practicing every day same time so….
  21. Great news - the UCI joins swimming & athletics in creating a defined category for women. Men will now compete in a Men/Open category. https://www.espn.com/olympics/story/_/id/38009574/transgender-women-cyclists-being-moved-new-men-open-category
  22. Restarting at 19:00 . In the meantime, a chance to compare whether than Finnish pop is worse than Polish. A bit like asking if you prefer train crashes to car crashes.
  23. Got one of your Scandi downpours now - everything is postponed. Crowd still in the stands though Bit of comedy relief with a guy who doesn’t know how to fix his squeegee roller.
  24. BBC never ever bother with artistic swimming. It's on streaming - you need to create a login id but it's free. aquatics.eurovisionsports.tv
