  1. Yeah, Eurosport have a lot of stuff on TV starting with the Opening Ceremony on Friday, with more on Discovery Plus. Fisu.tv have web-based coverage, and also apps on all the major hosts. Usually commentary is good - for the winter games they actually had US college coaches and ex-athletes, not just your random selection of aussies, kiwis & saffers () that the Olympics use. You have to register & give some personal details, but otherwise free.
  2. Yeah, amazing coincidence that so far every single swimming heat has finished in the exact lane order that they started.
  3. We have streaming! Not much commentary though. Commentary on the Athletics, plus annoying pop music.
  4. Yeah, we have lots of Polish people now even in strange games like Rugby League - no cricketers yet though. Our national handball league is mostly Polish & Spanish people.

  6. For us in Britain the CWG does two things now Debut Multi Sport Games for those transitioning from the obscurity of Juniors to the spotlight of full international competition A way of saying thanks to all those hard-working amateur & semi-pro sportspeople who are not going to ever win the big prizes. That’s good enough for me. No need for the hosts to spend a fortune to transform their cities - just do what Munich 2022 did & make sensible use of pre-existing resources.
  7. Oh wow, quite a lot of streams being created!
  8. He beat the African Record Frankie Fredericks set Atlanta 1996!
  9. Incredible men’s 200m, getting into Bolt territory.
  10. Streams are here. https://eoctv.org/live/
  11. European Record 51.45 for Femke Bol in the Hurdles.
  12. Set a WL 37.80 in a test 4x100m - gets them Q for Budapest, assuming 16 other countries don’t beat them next week.
  13. Oh really? Seems to me to indicate the club are a gang of bedwetting cowards who won’t protect their employees against pathetic internet incels.
  14. Bah, still a long way short of Wolfgang Wolf, ex-manager of VFB Wolfsburg.
  15. Think so. They will be shocked, shocked on Monday
  16. Moto guides Pinot up the hill. Graciously steps aside to let him join the lead group.
  17. Carlos Rodriguez crashes, is going to need a concussion inspection……….would probably be off already in rugby, boxing etc.
  18. Nah, strictly speaking Monaco athletics comes from the poverty- & crime-ridden banlieu of Fontvielle, not the luxury suburb of Monte Carlo. https://www.worldatlas.com/maps/monaco
  19. Well, George Best, greatest in the world 1964-71, then struggling for a payday ever after.
