  1. Was an announcement which competitions will be on 2026 Olympics games? On Olympics Games site there is an information that for the first time men and women will competite on the same distances. 10 + 10 km skiathlon (men and women) - clear Sprint (men and women) - but what style? Freestyle team sprint (men and women) - clear Relay 4x7.5 km (men and women) - clear 10 km freestyle (men and women) - clear 50 km classical technique (men and women) - clear
  2. OA: 1) Mykolas Alekna (Lituania) 1) Nicka – Dominika Banevič (Lituania) 1) Lituania (W2x) 2) Ruta Meilutyte (Lituania) 100m
  3. I think it is really possible because you have a lot of greats athlets. OA gives you 12 golds and Gracenote 11
  4. Gold for Tentoglu (long jump) Silver for Theodora Gkhontura (epee) Bronze for Georgios Kougiomtsidis (wrestling, 74) Anna Koraki (pistol, 10 meters), skeet mix, Emmanouela Katzouraki (skeet) and Eleftherios Petrounias (parallel bars) What do you think?
  5. Look at my simulation https://x.com/Igrzyska2024/status/1800452575268917752
  6. The start delayed due to the lack of wind. WC starts tomorrow.
  7. Have you any idea where to find results from first day of competition? Or yesterday the races were cancelled?
  8. GREAT JOB! In Polish national team I think that the biggest chance has Damian Durkacz as you wrote. But in my opinion Mateusz Bereźnicki (92 kg) is underrated, he is polish numeber 2 IMO. It would be great if 5 POL W qualify, but I agree with rafalgorka that it would be hard. But I am sure about Wójcik and Rygielska. Szeremeta is a big talent and I also think she can make it.
  9. Yes, you are right, it is a hard decision but.. what about women's categories? I don't know who would be dismissed by China. All 5 Chinese are great and if there wouldn't be limited to 3 weight classes, China would have 5 gold medals. What do you think? In my opinion they would choose Li Wenwen (+89 kg), Liang (81) and Jiang (49).
  10. After GP in Doha I prepared a simulation of men's tournament. There are some special rules in weightlifting such as maximum of 3 per NOC. For France I decided to choose Imadouchene (89), Coullet (+102) and Kingue Matam (73). 61 kg 73 kg 89 kg 102 kg >102 kg CHN INA CHN CHN GEO ITA THA BUL QAT BRN INA JPN COL KOR ARM THA LAT VEN BRN IRI GEO KOR IRI AIN SYR PHI BUL ITA ARM UZB MAS ESP ARM GEO EGY BUL ITA EGY IRI AIN VIE TUR CAN MDA ALG USA VEN AIN KGZ IRQ CUB TUN USA USA NZL GER FRA FRA FRA KOR
