Pasolini's Achievements

  1. Boxing World Cup!! I'm so excited that we finally have a proper boxing tour. Hoping to see more nations coming up soon, but so far so good!
  2. It has been circulating in Brazilian press a new regulation from World Skate that would limit the age of athletes starting LA28. Basically only athletes that were born after January 1st, 2014, will be able to compete in this Olympic cycle. On 2029 onwards only athletes with 14 yo (born on Jan 1 onwards on that year) will be able to compete on World Skate events. Apparently the document would be released on April 9, but has been leaked (I have not seen the document). Some parts were published on Demetrio Vecchioli's blog, he's a journalist that has been for years and years advocating this minimum age for skateboarding, as you find in gymnastics, etc.
  3. Nice interview here: https://www.olympics.com/en/news/ioc-president-elect-kirsty-coventry-interview-challenge-status-quo I wonder if this quote below is only related to audience or would mean stricter rules to Universality quotas. It would be nice to make sure more athletes gain quotas and not the only (best) athlete get them for 3 or 4 times.
  4. At least you had the International Feature Oscar last year!
  5. Well, Bach is definitely popular. We have to remind ourselves that he considered a third term and we saw 1 hour or more of people begging him to do it during an IOC Session.
  6. I was eager to see the names of those eliminated...
  7. Wow 1st round!!! I did not see that coming.
  8. I wonder whom Michelle Yeoh will vote for? I still don't understand fully why she's an IOC member.
  9. For me, I'm Still Here, Anora and Conclave were the top3 from the 10 BP, but neither made my yearly top20 (posted today on a rush on instagram without their titles, tomorrow I can post here).
  10. yeah, same, I'm so happy I lost those 3 awards (i guess I betted against to not be so miserable if they lost)
  11. I've read that he might be a recordist for Césars, with 13 wins and 26 noms. We could say it's the contemporary "quality French cinema" (to borrow a Truffaut expression regarding the 1950s national cinema)
  12. Thanks for starting this @vinipereirawe actually have the same bets on 19 from the 23 categories (only actress, original screenplay, sound and documentary short, if i saw correctly are different). Below are my candidates. First of all, I include my favorite candidates in each category, and then MY BET is the one i think will win the Oscar with 2 possible spoilers (in order). i ranked the 50 nominated films in every category here btw: https://letterboxd.com/nagime/list/oscars-2025-my-favorites/
  13. I loved September 5 but one thing bugged me: why they included images from Cuba x URSS at Moscow 1980 during the announcement that there was still some volleyball matches going on. Probably nobody else noticed that and obviously it has not hampered the film on the slightest, but still...
  14. Do you guys have any idea on why is IJF NOT streaming the second bronze medal of each category? They either show replays from the first match or just have a camera on the roof of the gymnasium, no narration, nothing. it is so weird.
  15. Just read all now, it's been a crazy month to start the year in my end. But thank you SO MUCH Vini and congrats to all of us for creating and keeping this amazing community!
