  1. Do you guys have any idea on why is IJF NOT streaming the second bronze medal of each category? They either show replays from the first match or just have a camera on the roof of the gymnasium, no narration, nothing. it is so weird.
  2. Just read all now, it's been a crazy month to start the year in my end. But thank you SO MUCH Vini and congrats to all of us for creating and keeping this amazing community!
  3. after the last second goal from France, I remember just now my favorite moment from 2024: the last point from the basketball final. what a thing to end the Olympics and decide the Medal tally 'winner'!
  4. I love Pogacar (and Sinner), but for me, if you don't go to the Olympics out of your own choice in an Olympic year it's a total no no on these kind of awards.
  5. Hey Vini, those are my votes. As I copied and pasted on text edit, hopefully the formating is not wrong! 6. hey Vini! That's sad to hear. I think I am still in the post-Olympics hangover, but i will send my votes in a bit!
  7. Today is the first time I'm on Totallympics since the end of the Paris 2024 games. Or better yet, since the beginning of the Paris 2024 games. I was working and therefore it was a bit impossible for me to follow things here as I was busy around 12h a day and the other hours I was trying to meeting friends and have some fun in Paris. The experience was amazing. I would basically every morning go to a café and prepare myself for the day aheard. trying to go to different cafés was a bit hard after week 2. At evening I would go to some bar or bistro to meet friends and watch more events. Most of French and Parisiens were complaining about the Olympics (as they always do) but after the first few days (Opening Ceremony, Dupont, Marchand, etc) they were already head over heels and it was fun to witness that for the 3rd time in a row. It was amazing to meet @Sindoand @Jan Linhaand also chat with some other users during those days. And it will be nice to rewatch or properly watch many of the events and perhaps check what you all were discussing "in real time".
  8. I have a feeling that in Tokyo 2020 there were many strong contenders from no-medal countries, but this year, I agree with you, if 2 or 3 new countries appear will be good.
  9. Who got the quotas originally from Suriname and Israel in keirin?
  10. 11 men, 4 women, I think IJF has not read many news regarding Paris 2024
  11. Thank you so much. So they got 3 quotas through Universality, 2 from tripartite (including judo). Sad they have rejected swimming's male quota (Jainny PINTO CARVALHO)
  12. I just realized that WA did the same thing in 800m as it had done in marathon: they removed 3 ranking quotas to give universality spots (including first to Cook Islands)
  13. I understand, your reasoning could obviously be applied by IOC and Boxing WG. But not necessarily. Cindy earned a normal quota and I think she was just incorporated into the Refugee Team as she has no other NOC.
