You may want to try airbnb or similar sites. I was able to get good deals on rooms in both Marseille and Lille with airbnb, I was surprised that they booked this far ahead.

I'm in the ticket lottery- I'm hoping for soccer (France men's opener in Marseille with chance of Mbappe), rugby, handball, beach volleyball, and basketball (possible doubleheader in Lille.) I also bought one of the On Location tickets, to of all things women's street skateboarding final. The "Clubhouse 24" event you get with the ticket looks fun and it's a nice change-up from all the team sports I hope to see.

This is a great idea! I will go with Barbados because the sweatshirt pictured here is one of my favourite pieces of clothing I have ever owned- it was sold here alongside Team Canada gear at the then-official outfitter in 2004.

I have good memories of Pan Ams in Toronto in 2015. I won tickets in a sponsor giveaway to see the equestrian eventing final- I had to look up what eventing was but we had a great time there. Looking forward to world swimming, track, and beach volleyball championships as well as basketball World Cup and all Paris qualifiers.

The finals tickets that aren't on sale yet will go on sale as single tickets in May- tickets in this round have to be bought in packs of 3. Try the link now- I was able to see the ticket prices, but curiously it only worked in my Microsoft Edge browser. On first glance, good news is that there are a ton of reasonably-priced tickets, including events I want to see like beach volleyball prelims and rugby finals. Bad news is that many finals tickets aren't available yet, even for some of the sports that aren't as popular.

From what I read you will only be able to resell tickets on the official site, at face value. Hopefully that leaves the tickets for actual fans
