  1. Duke is out so everybody but the ESPN is probably happy about it Now how does the lottery work so NBA can put Zion & Knicks together? That will be rigged one way or another?
  2. Ferrari blows another race when they should have 1-2 on paper. Vettel is absolutely useless in wheel-to-wheel action, Leclerc is the real deal, enough with geriatric asses of Webber and Raikkonen boosting Vettel's profile. Unless Ferrari applies blatant TO, Leclerc should be the team leader going forward IMO. Cannot trust Vettel holding his own under pressure ever AGAIN.
  3. Kaisa Makarainen finished 5th in the Finnish cross country Champs today (10km Free). 1min 11 secs back from winner Parmakoski but only 13 secs. off the podium (and ahead of World Cup regulars Roponen & Mononen).
  4. Ain't gonna spend 5 seconds watching breakdance as Olympic event. Pure bullshit
  5. W Series full-time line-up has been announced just few minutes ago: Jamie Chadwick, UK Sabre Cook, USA Marta Garcia, Spain Megan Gilkes, Canada Esmee Hawkey, UK Jessica Hawkins, UK Shea Holbrook, USA Emma Kimilainen, Finland Miki Koyama, Japan Sarah Moore, UK Tasmin Pepper, South Africa Vicky Piria, Italy Alice Powell, UK Gosia Rdest, Poland Naomi Schiff, Belgium Beitske Visser, Netherlands Fabienne Wohlwend, Liechtenstein Caitlin Wood, Australia Reserves: Sarah Bovy, Belgium Vivien Keszthelyi, Hungary Stephane Kox, Netherlands Francesca Linossi, Italy
  6. This is just a list from each the past 10 seasons I see you don't like it. Won't bother posting anything like that again then
  7. Best finish for a Polish woman in the last 10 years. [/img]
  8. LIna Cheryazova, the first Olympic Champion in women's aerials has passed away at the age of 50. Still the only medal winner for in Winter Games history.
  9. Rob Gronkowski announced his retirement yesterday. Probably the most dominant tight end to ever play in the NFL.
  10. Poland laboured into another win 2-0 vs Our coach is way in over his head so we'll find a way to screw this up - or get super lucky with the powerhouses like Macedonia & Israel in this group Speaking of Loew, I'm glad he send the fat cats Hummels, Mueller & Boateng packing. A big middle finger salute to the Bayern ego
  11. Thx for the correction, Tomasz Sikora talked something about Patrick Favre for a while so I couldn't tell whether it was him or someone else. Then again why talk about the men's coaches during the women's races?
  12. That's the strategy for most teams, keep the hammer for the 10th even if you're down a point. Switzerland got very lucky during these cha,ps, Finland run out of time when they had the win in sights (and Swiss would be 0-3) and then some horrible tactics from both China & Korea.
  13. Wierer was supposed to retire after last Olympics but they convinced her to go until the 2020 WC which will be held in Anterselva. Now I wonder if they convince her to go until the next Olympics? Both Tomasz Sikora & Weronika Nowakowska said there was some extra juice in the Italian team since their coach (P.Favre) joined the French team before the season without a warning so they wanted to prove they can perform without him as well. I guess they did just that.
  14. Well, this was a very good season on the women's side considering how one-sided the men's was. Maybe this overall success gives Wierer an extra boost to keep going until the 2022 WOG? Vittozzi was pretty impressive but crumbled mentally when it mattered the most. Herrmann proved to be the best of the Germans and quite frankly she can challenge for the overall next season IMO. Also Monika Hojnisz finished in the overall Top 10 as the second ever after Krystyna Guzik in 2015/16.
  15. If Kuzmina finishes 2nd she won't beat Wierer's 894 mark which would be her worst possible. She'll have 893.
  16. Yeah, Wierer's three misses mean little if Kuzmina is 19th
  17. ES showing some horse jumping so I'm watching on Polsat Sport... First shoot, Wierer 5/5, Kuzmina 3/5, Vittozzi 2/5!
  18. Hmm... the intermediate IBU results actually count the cancelled Canmore sprint as a valid race so technically only one worst score is counted off, In which case Wierer has 894 pts rather than 875? https://ibu.blob.core.windows.net/docs/1819/BT/SWRL/CP09/SWPU/BT_C78B_1.0.pdf
  19. Wierer 875, Vittozzi 852, Kuzmina 839. Wierer needs 16th in mass start to finish ahead of Kuzmina if she wins. Wierer needs 6th in mass start if Vittozzi wins.
  20. Obviously Winterton is unaware she never hit 20/20 before
  21. Women's pursuit has started. Tomasz Sikora thinks P.Fialkova will win this (but that's his standard prediction this season ).
  22. Don't forget about the Planica 7! Yeah, all these events outside Four Hills are so useless so beyond laughable at this stage. The only point of it being qualifying suddenly matters now that Top 10 used to skip that so they ruled out Top 10 auto quals and people still don't give a shit. Ruke Triple, Four Hills, Willingen 5, Raw AIr, Planica 7. Did I miss something?
  23. Slovakia finishes 17th and gets to field 4 athletes next season, Poland 18th and stays with three. Finland skipping the North American races cost them that fourth spot for next season so I have no idea how they justify that?
