  1. It's like selling an Eagles jersey in Cowboys stadium. You're gonna get whacked just by being there. Law & Justice doesn't care much about political corectness & the LGBT community ain't their voters whatsoever. And no, staging a public protest is not "living their lives". According to the conservative politicians over here it's a provocation, period. Moreover some liberal politicians have asked for more protests so the people who get beat up even more and than be used as LGBT martyrs of sorts
  2. Law & Justice formed the government with the far-right (Polish Families League) back in 2005. Now the leader of that party supports the liberals The true far-right has been neutralized over the past 10 years and means nothing other than being supported by various hooligan groups associated with soccer clubs. Bialystok is a city with a top soccer club and I wouldn't be surprised if several of those attackers were football hooligans in disguise. They don't care about politics but rather clashes with other groups and the LGBT comunity is a very suitable group to attack. Moreover it's on the north east part of the country which has strong Home Army & anti-communist traditions. They fit the Law & Justice voters' profile. The only bigger support for Law & Justice is in the south-east (Western Galicia) where Ukrainian nationals murdered thousands of Poles during WWII (even more in Eastern Galicia currently within Ukraine borders). Politics in Poland has strong connections to the past communism and pre-WWII days and this won't be dismissed over some LGBT ideology that quickly if ever.
  3. Promoting LGBT ideology is risky business in Poland We're not as liberal as the Netherlands or Sweden. It's time some people really acknowedge that. You can promote LGBT in Warsaw but the whole country? Ain't gonna happen. Watch Law & Justice crush these liberals in the October elections again
  4. Couldn't watch the finals live because I was working but man, Cate Campbell clowned Simone Manuel on the last leg of the mixed relay So, is Milak the new Cseh? Or more like the new Egerszegi?
  5. This is the same drug which had his Beijing medal stripped already. And the same used by Jon Jones in MMA. In fact he used the same defense as Jones that the latter test showed echo from the previous doping cycle

  7. Majchrzak missed 100m Free SF by 0,10. Dressel miles ahead.
  8. Hope is OK even though she's a bit of a loose cannon haha. But I'm never politically correct to begin with
  9. You got two out of three right Biles dominance is driving me nuts
  10. Gimme a list of three names and I'll tell you if you're correct
  11. Tchorz in 10th place! A rare safe SF spot for us! Minna Atherton out in 18th.
  12. https://ustreamix.su/stream.php?id=tvp-sport-poland&token=8fa-7d6-385-dcf-3e7-1de-018-7dc-be1-747-47 If you don't mind Polish commentary I watch it on TV anyway...
  13. Alicja Tchorz 28,14 in 50m backstroke heats. This could be too slow for the semis...
  14. I don't feel like I post too much in threads about sports popular in America tho
  15. If I picked Kharlan over Velikaya I'd have 5 pts more and probably finished 3rd or 4th. But a Top 10 is still not bad for a sport I follow on very sporadic basis
  16. This entire situation comes from the fact the Beckham Tax law has lapsed in 2014 and players no longer pay 24% but rather 43-52%. Hence the off-shore accounts are running wild & getting cracked one after another. I wonder if Alex Morgan would like to pay 24% income tax or rather 52%?
  17. She's simply jealous. The global power of men's football far exceeds what women have to offer and they can't handle it. What's worse, NFL season kicks off in like six weeks so nobody will be talking about Morgan & Rapinoe again
  18. I bet it's very easy for Americans to hate on Russian & Chinese athletes
  19. Or Abraham Olano & Laurent Jalabert You don't have to dominate the winner's circle to be a regular GT contender.
  20. Schleck's GT window was pretty small so it makes it even more curious. It seems like he evolved from being a one-day speciallist almost by fluke and his brother got busted on doping so it's even more fishy. Kwiatkowski won Tirreno-Adriatico and has podium finishes in Paris-Nice & Basque Country but he's not a GT contender. Regular GT contender is someone who goes for the overall GT win for the best part of 10 years or more. Schleck ain't one. And I realize someone might be a late bloomer only because he is held back by team orders like LeMond for Hinault or Froome for Wiggins.
  21. At least he didn't say anything about a tortoise soup
  22. Huh? I used to think Schleck was a one-day/Monuments speciallist rather than stage tour rider tbh? Bit like Kwiatkowski these days who will never be in the mix for any of these stage races.
  23. Who was the last regular stage tour winner that was losing so much time in TT though? I've been watching some of this stuff since the days of Delgado & Indurain and they were pretty expert at ITT which is largely forgotten these days.
  24. Doesn't Bernal need to improve his TT first? I feel like he's always losing time there?
