  1. All the big throws came in the first two rounds. No wind towards the end so Feng 69.12 holds up for gold. Perkovic & Allman with the minor medals. Feng's previous PB was 66.00 from April this year
  2. Men's 400m final could be very close. Norman & Hudson-Smith had fastest times in SF but the rest was basically covered by 0,25 secs.
  3. Women's 400m SF completed. New PB for Cofil 50.14, new NR for Klaver 50,18. Miller-Uibo 49.55, Paulino 49.98 and Williams 50.12 the three fastest. Anna Kielbasinska makes the final as LL with 50.65!
  4. Bin Feng 69.12 to lead the discus after first round.
  5. Kramer stumbled three times in ten meters and that was his race done. It would almost be better if he fell and tried an appeal? Kramer actually gets in as one of FL.

  8. World-leading Maggie Malone out in javelin Q with only 54.19. Kim Little's 59.06 was enough to qualify with the 12th best result.
