  1. China won their second match, 5-0, against host nation, Finland. China is promoted to next year's Pool B of World Para Ice Hockey.
  2. So people from Netherlands' "bible belt" do the same.
  3. Noted. He's not even from Amsterdam, but what I read, he sounds like someone who has smoked something at a coffeeshop.
  4. Well the two municipalities are part of Hovedstaden, and the two municipalities still exist. Hovedstaden is also the name of 1 of our 5 five regions, and Region Hovedstaden is MUCH bigger.
  5. @heywoodu It's some "interesting" people living in the Netherlands? A 69-year-old entrepreneur in the Netherlands wants to legally change his age to 49 so he can go back to work and meet more women on Tinder, according to his lawsuit. The self-proclaimed positivity guru argued that he feels 20 years younger, and compared the age difference to being transgender, despite the concepts being completely different. "You can change your name. You can change your gender. Why not your age? Nowhere are you so discriminated against as with your age," he told De Telegraaf. Ratelband argued that he is a "young god" and said changing his age would allow him to "live differently," saying he would get more matches on Tinder if he could use a younger age. https://www.thisisinsider.com/dutch-man-emile-ratelband-wants-to-legally-change-his-age-to-49-2018-11
  6. It was Australia's second match. They played against Finland two days ago, where they lost 6-1.
  7. It's because Frederiksberg is a separate municipality of Copenhagen. The red part is the Municipality of Copenhagen and the white/gray part is the Municipilaty of Frederiksberg
  8. Very good percentage. But we all know Denmark is still better than Netherlands. National election: 1998: 85.6% 2001: 87.1% 2005: 84.4% 2007: 86.6% 2011: 87.2% 2015: 85.8%
  9. Nope, they just send me to some random polling station in my city. Maybe I'm lucky next election.
  10. IPads, not tablets. Apple was founded in California. California's nickname is "the golden state". The big apple is the nickname of New York. Who lives in New York and has a golden decorated apartment. President Trump wins the 2020 election is confirmed.
  11. What a debut! China won 40-0 over Australia in their para ice hockey debut at World Para Ice Hockey Championships C-Pool. https://www.insidethegames.biz/articles/1071965/china-ease-to-40-0-debut-win-at-world-para-ice-hockey-championships-c-pool
  12. Denmark, one of the most digitised nations in EU and the world, we, of course, stil vote by paper. (Which I hate because I'm a volunteer at every election and it takes forever to count the votes...)
  13. I think @Agger will be a little annoyed that Aarhus is referred to as a suburb to Copenhagen. (Also the clip with the footballer, who totally fails a throw-in, he is from a football club in Aarhus )
  14. One thing I'm happy to see is that the voting turnout seems to be the highest turnout in many years for Midterm Elections. Also more young voters appear to have taken advantage of early voting in outsize numbers this year, as did women. Always a positive thing that more and more citizens take part in the democratic process in their country/nation. https://www.vox.com/midterm-elections/2018/11/7/18049518/voter-turnout-2018-midterm-elections-results

  16. Nadal and Del Potro are injuried, so it's kind of sub-elite, well except Federer and Djokovic.
  17. https://www.nittoatpfinals.com/
  18. Or the idea could come from this
  19. It was like the designer of the circuit suddenly discovered it wasn't long enough and just said, "Fuck it, I just make Formula 1's longest straight, which looks like a very long and thin penis, everyone will like that idea".
  20. It was in 2016. It was defeated.
