A new conflict in Danish badminton. The conflict is about commercial rights, especially how much of the players's commercial earnings should go to the Danish Badminton Association. Badminton Denmark has sent out a press release, which makes it clear that from 1st of December all agreements, both collectively and individually, cease to apply. This means that the players withdraw their intellectual property rights from the cooperation, and that the association terminates all services financed by the Elite Program. Players may, for example, not continue their daily training at the elite center, gain access to Team Denmark facilities and specialists, and be part of the national team. Badminton Denmark will not, as long as there is no new agreement, send trainers and other staff to individual tournaments, arrange travel, apply visa, book hotel, transportation, training times.
