Another of my favourite events at these Games , Sepaktakraw is also going to be interesting. 22 yes 22 gold medals in the event!! I favour Cambodia to win at least 8 golds among Chinlone events men, women and mixed - Primary, Secondary,Linking,Same stroke, Repitition, Non repetition. In the actual sport there is team and individual for the rest. Hopefully they find few events with East Timor and Brunei women and some events rules known to nations after reaching Cambodia especially in Chinlone.

Cricket returns to the SEA games after a long time. Can't wait to see Cambodia win medals in cricket! 8 gold medals in cricket, a nation can participate in any 6 , 3 each per gender except for host which can participate in all 8 granting Cambodia a free medal as well as golds to Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia etc

Time for my favourite multi sport games where predicting the final medal tally is one of the hardest. Exciting new sports and crazy rules !!

Here in this WC they beat 2 full members and and almost beat New Zealand and Pakistan.

Debutants have reached the super sixes in their first ever ICC World Cup of any format. They came close to beating one of the pre tournament favourites today in Super Sixes.

So won 2nd day. The match of day was v Pakistan survived the Rwandan Test . It was a pretty even game, Rwanda were pretty good in the middle overs just made few errors which meant they only managed 106 in their 20 overs, a comparatively good score for women's U19 level. Then had Pakistan in all sorts of trouble for 10 overs after which they played well. It did not look like a newcomer at all and it will give them a boost to reach the next stage, would be a fairy tale story as the sport is a new one and they grown it well in schools and colleges. Zimbabwe meanwhile were bowled out for 25 runs against England. Indonesia managed a hard earned 74 against New Zealand with Ayu Kurnia (13runs including 2 fours) and Gek Ulan(16 runs) showing some resistance.

I think having moguls,dual moguls and aerials would have been better. They don't even have any event until end of the most which coincidentally is in Canada followed by US. Some of the events are going to be pretty boring. NC, slopestyle etc don't fascinate me even with 30 or 100 entries way too boring.

It's time for the first ever Women's U19 World Cup !!

So schools and colleges have been given holidays in Odisha where the world cup is being held. The hockey fever is gripping the state with people, media all talking about it as even holiday has been given on occasion opening ceremony. Outside Odisha, and hockey hubs of Jharkhand, Punjab, Haryana, people don't really care about the world cup. Most Indians don't know the world cup is being held in India or know even 1 hockey player in current squad.
