Jitu gets eliminated in the first round of the finals heartbreaking but still he made it to the finals . something should be done of the crowd shouting and distracting the shooters same disturbing sounds were made during fifa world cup

This is my summary of Day 1 for India at  RIO 2016

Hockey : This is only good news we had yesterday. India win 3-2 against Ireland.

Rowing : Dattu Baban Bhokanal , Great show by Him as he is first India to directly qualify for Quaterfinals. Though its very less chance to move further. Good support for Rowers.. they bring laurels to the country in future.

Shooting:
10 m air pistol men : Good show by JItu and Gupreeth. Jitu qualify for finals but poor start in finals cost him the medal. Hope next event both perform well.

10m Air Rifle Women : Worst performance by Indian Girls. Not worried on not qualifying for final but scores are very bad. Not sure why federation sent Ayonika Paul to Olympics.

Weghtlifting : Saikhom Mirabai Chanu - DNF in Clean & Jerk. Long way to go in this sport inIndia..

Table Tennis : Worst show by our TT Team even before meeting Chinese. Sad to see even Soumyajit Ghosh is struggling. All the four players exit in first round

Tennis : No body denying Lender is Legend but Ego will not fetch medal for any one.. As expected Chemistry between the players made 1st round exit in Mens and Womens doubles.  Now only Mixed doubles is alive for India

Lesson Learned : Olympics is different.. so to much expectation will cost every one.
