I think they will go by the ranking, Top players would get the nod.

I am not sure about that. Sindhu hasn't participated in the event for years hopefully returns.

Grandma Saina doesn't have a future so she should just give the opportunity to others.

Next in ranking are Akarshi Kashyap (52) ,Malvika (61) , Ashmita (62) who are soft players without a strong smash in them or good deception so they wont make it big in future .

Anupama (75) will be close to 60s (between 58-64 rank) so hopefully selected as one of the 5 singles players.

Panda had an issue with the coach in PGBA so shifted to PPBA. Now there isn't any good partner for Crasto in WD meaning she's only focusing on XD with Ishaan,  who is not even half as good as Satwik despite being almost the same age. If she's not getting a strong and powerful jump smasher she's going no where in XD either now.

It's high time Crasto and Jolly are paired together, any keen badminton fan can realize those are the best 2 in women's doubles currently and need to play together, I hope any other player who doesn't have shoulder and defense, do not keep getting picked for the wrong reasons.

@Prashanth @Fly_like_a_don @nitinsanker What are your opinions on India's next generation of shuttlers especially on the following players

Men's Singles - Kiran George, Meiraba Luwang Maisnam

Women's Singles - Aakarshi Kashyap, Malvika Bansod, Aditi Bhatt, Samiya Farooqui

Men's Doubles - Ishaan Bhatnagar + Sai Prateek

Women's Doubles - Ashwini Bhatt + Shikha Gautam

Also has Pranaav Chopra retired?

Men's Singles - Kiran George expecting him to be in the top 30 by the end of the year.

Women's Singles- More hopeful from Anupama and Tasnim, expecting both to be in top 30 by end of 2023 maybe earlier for Anupama

Men's doubles- Sai & Ishan no chance, some other pair maybe Dhruv, Arjun moving to Top 20,

WM doubles- Only chance if Crasto and Jolly are paired together they have the potential t he in top 10 in a year

    • That was known from the start for  and will be planned for.   Sadly just the reality of sports in North America. Canada and the US are both huge, a flight from Vancouver to Halifax or from Seattle to Miami is north of five hours. Every sports league in North America has to deal with this kind of travel logistics on the regular, so none of this will seem particularly unusual to a North American player.
    • That’s not a long distance, it’s barely a 2h flight and there is no difference in timezone. Easily doable for fans as well.
