L Suriya makes it to the CWG team in 10,000mW, In the process bettered her PB from 32:39.86m which she had done 2 years ago to 32:23.96m. Expecting a medal in CWG is asking too much but with the Africans in the fray can expect her to have better PB from the games. Which would be the result expected from her.

ISSF World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico

Indian shooter Anjum Moudgil clinched a silver medal in the women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions event at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico.

This was India’s eighth medal in the competition and the first silver after having won three golds and four bronze medals already, for their best ISSF World Cup performance by far.

    • I still shocks, that a country of 4-5 million inhabitants? can be a powerhouse in almost every winter sport + handball, football (most recently with Haaland) and athletics: Ingebrigtsen, Warholm, etc. With such a small population, they can't be missing out on any major talent, surely? This must be the best training system in the world...
