Not sure how the medals for Germany were luck, please inform me. Also a bronze medal in an Olympic event (combined excluded) is worth ten times more than a gold in an event were the favorites didn’t even bother to show up.

it was no but who withdrew.

Also , , and were ahead of Finland, Belgium and Japan but all returned the quota I assume

Poland has one female skier and maybe two slalom guys who are completely worthless. We can't field a 6 person team even if we pull Marcin Szafranski from the Eurosport TV booth

which apply to all remaining mentioned nations, btw next in line was   this is the reason why there only 15 countries in the competition.

 

Same issue had in the past Tina Weirather winning quotas here and there but the nation could never field a team

I was rude to our women skiers, we actually have three since Magdalena Luczak will take part in GS here. Zuzanna Czapska tore her ACL in the summer but she's still funded by our federation. But if we're ever gonna have someone at World Cup level within the next 10 years it's Luczak.

The Jasiczek brothers are self-funded and basically at odds with our federation. So they're probably gonna end up like Maciej Bydlinski and retire prematurely after being deemed "too old" to receive any help. Bydlinski was "too old" at age 28
