The best team- Hungary – didn't advance and that was at home, because they had one weaker game against Slovakia. Italy had its chance and could have advanced- a win against France for 3 points was enough for this. France use their chance – it's truly amazing that they can be strong in so many team sports– even hockey, which has never been very popular there. For Italy, this is still the best result in history. Btw, I wonder when Russia will return and how they will resolve this? Will they join directly to the Elite? Looking at other sports, it's probably only a matter of time before that happens and I1m sure, that the primadonnas from Moscow won't be playing in some lower divisions- and neither will their men`s friends. -
