I had tickets for eventing's cross country phase at Tokyo 2020, but the pandemic stole my chance to see it live :(

Were you able to get to Paris to see it?

Not too much longer before we (hopefully) will be able to see how many mortgages we'll need to take out to be able to go see any events. :p

Today was the first of the 2026 Grand Slam of Show Jumping in the Netherlands--The Dutch Masters.

We had our top guy Kent Farrington, who was joined by fellow American Lillie Keenan.  They both went unscathed in the first round, which sent them both to the jump-off.  Unfortunately, they both knocked over a rail (two for Kent).  Lillie finished 6th and Kent, 10th.

Fortunately, you can live-stream this on their website.  And, you can even see each rider's video after the fact.  Just scroll down to the leaderboard. https://www.rolexgrandslam.com/en/Events/The-Dutch-Masters/The-Dutch-Masters.html

The next in the series will be CHIO Aachen, 24 May 2026.

    • c'mon! KOR dq in the men's relay is really a farce, a disgrace for the sport...and ITA have nothing to do with that
    • The only ones complaining about the short track refs are Italians, imo. Not even on this forum, but in general, from what I've been seeing on live chats and other social media sites. That says a lot to be honest. I suspect it's partially due to them not performing to the high standard they're expected to perform at especially at the Olympics. The refs make a lot of mistakes for everyone, there's no bias against or towards anyone    Plus, Italy have won 6 medals already.... the most you've won at a Worlds since 2016.
    • For me they gave Canada the gold in the relay in exchange for a 1000-meter dsq gold for Dandjinou, that's how I see it. It was a battle between Kor and Can on 2 of this case. It's hard to say why that last dsq for Kor was in relay? Of course, Italy win bronze thanks for that, but that's not really important. It would have been better if the referees had just stayed out of the results and left it as it was decided for fight on the ice.

    • the quata for europe or australia is from the primer 12, where the top 20 teams will participate, sadly  is the 21th team so the only slight chance for us in my opinion is if: we get top 2 at the european championship (not including  hopefully if they get the quata), then somehow win the final qualification tournament against i assume  and one of    the chances for us are slim, i think about 4 other team sports  have a better chance in in my opinion(and the most team sports we ever had was one, and it was the last two time after a long time )
