2026 Week 7 (16-22 Feb) Results:

Cycling - Road:

UAE Tour (16-22 Feb) Adam Yates finished 15th overall in the general classification with Ben Tulett in 39th. James Knox and Josh Tarling finished just outside of the points in 61st and 63rd respectively. Tarling continues to perform will in individual time trial stages - taking 2nd place 5 seconds behind Remco Evenepoel. Ben Swift was down in 74th with Owain Doull in 86th and Ben Swift in 87th. Mark Stewart finished in 120th with Callum Thornley in 122nd. Ethan Vernon was well down the field in 125th although worth saying that he did narrowly miss out on stage win on stage 4 and was 6th in stage 5. Ethan Hayter finished in 137th.

Vuelta A Andalucia Ruta Ciclista Del Sol (18-22 Feb) - Tom Pidcock finished 3rd in the general classification including taking stage win in stage 5. Fred Wright finished in 33rd whilst Lucas Towers was well down the field in 64th with William Smith in 74th.

Volta Ao Algarve Em Bicicleta (18-22 Feb) - Oscar Onley finished 4th in the general classification with Thomas Gloag also finishing in the points in 11th place. Max Poole was down in 54th with Sean Flynn in 76th, Noah Hobbs in 114th and Josh Giddings in 119th.

Equestrian - Jumping:

FEI Jumping World Cup: Goteburg (18-22 Feb) - John Whitaker just missed out on the jump off after taking a time fault. He was the top placed Brit finishing in 9th place. Robert Whitaker had 3 fences down for 12 faults and 29th place whilst Jodie Mcateer retired.

An additional result I missed from Week 6 - Ben Maher finished in 16th place at the Jumping World Cup event in Florida.

Golf:

LPGA: Honda Thailand Open (19-22 Feb) - Lottie Woad finished on -15. This was enough for a tie for 15th place overall. Gemma Dryburgh didn't have such a good event - +1 left her down in 59th place.

PGA: Genesis Invitational (19-22 Feb) - Tommy Fleetwood was the top finishing Brit on -12 in a tie for 7th place.  Marco Penge scored -10 for a tie for 16th with Robert MacIntyre a further shot behind in a tie for 20th. Matt Fitzpatrick finished on -7 in a tie for 24th with Aaron Rai a further shot behind in a tie for 28th.

DPT: Magical Kenya Open (19-22 Feb) - As always, plenty of Brits competing on the European Tour event - Nathan Kimsey was the top performing Brit with -19 giving him a tie for 5th place. Matthew Jordan scored -18 for 7th and Cameron Adam was in 9th on -16. These results will give them entry to the Investec South African Open.

-15 was good enough for a tie for 14th for Ben Schmidt. Alex Fitzpatrick finished on -13 in tie for 23rd with Jack Senior a shot further back in tie for 29th. Scottish pair Euan Walker and Scott Jamieson were on -11 in a tie for 34th that also included Joseph Dean. David Law scored -10 for 42nd.
