:JPN Japan and :CZE Czech Republic are still tied at 0 in the 7th inning :yikes::yikes::yikes:

What an amazing performance by the Czech starting pitcher Ondrej Satoria going 5 shutout innings.

as expected ,the wheels fell off for the Czechs in the 8th inning and Japan scored 9 runs winning 9-0.

Japan hasn't looked particularly great in the Group Stage round. If you're :DOM or :VEN, you have to be feeling better about your chances of advancing to the semifinals. The problem is that Japan will likely be starting one of the best pitchers in the world, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, in the quarterfinal game and as a Toronto Blue Jays fan, I still have nightmares about him.

I feel like jet lag could be an issue for some of these players flying in from Japan...just a couple of days to get used to a new time zone...but maybe won't be too bad.
