Do you know how it worked at the Test event? There were no nations cup races at the Test event. And those points are not included into the world cup standings. So we do not know for sure what the standings is now -

This website is scandalous... The World Cup standings in men's single haven't been updated since yesterday competition... There are no any links to the Olympic rankings (they're not the same as the World Cup!). I don't know what these people are getting paid, but it looks like complete amateurs for me https://www.fil-luge.org/en/overall-scores?event_season_id=33 -

Japan just had their nationals and announced their team: https://www.olympics.com/en/milano-cortina-2026/news/figure-skating-japan-team-announcement-milano-cortina-2026 The Miura/Kihara pair withdrew from nationals due to her dislocated shoulder, but because of their record during GP, they had no trouble being selected, and are definitely in medal contention. As for the women, it was Sakamoto, Chiba, and Nakai who made the cut. (I was rooting for Nakai...love her Wonderful World routine.) -
