Biathlon IBU Junior & Youth World Championships 2020

Baserga with two misses and still manages to ski faster than most of the girls.  She still might win the race.  I know that only 10 are in right now, but few are faster on the skis than her.  She skied about 32 seconds faster than current #2 Comola.

As seen in the picture above, Comola even threw away nearly 50 seconds on shooting time to Baserga as well.

Khaliullina with a 20/20 race.  Great shooting and skiing.  Up by over 1:15!  Tordorova of :BUL has missed 3 but only 1:24 behind coming out of the last shoot, that is really fast skiing.

@Werloc  Dinda really struggled with the stand.  I am sorry.

The US is surprising me.  Also, something happened to the Swiss.  I am pretty sure the Greeks have been lapped, but there must have been an injury or broken equipment that caused them to pullout during the first leg. Keller and the Swiss are now listed as DNF by the 7.1 KM mark.

Oops, Greece is still going.  This must be a non-lapped event.

US misses 8 shots on #6!

:NOR with the gold in convincing fashion 0+6

:CZE with a 0+9 to finish in 2nd.

:RUS goes 0+10 and grabs third.  Poland was 0+0 for a long time and in 2nd place before falling back into 6th.  Slovenia, Austria and Italy also avoided the penalty loop.

    • Do you have any idea, when we will start seeing the official documents? I am quite curious to see the changes in the qualifications
    • I hope it was a typo and they mean mixed doubles.   Unless they bring back ranking points (they should regardless) I imagine the team event will be sparsely attended. I just hope players declining to participate won't spread to the singles/doubles events.

    • Also this from a journalist friend who asked the IOC about whether the mixed tennis event would be mixed doubles or a mixed team event. Simple answer - they don't know yet. The ITF are still to decide
    • The tennis would likely be the United Cup format. 1 singles mens match, 1 singles womens and the mixed, best of three.   Which if this is the case, it would be impossible to make players compete in a team event, singles and doubles in only one week (and especially coming from the grass to hard).   Due to this is very likely that tennis could go for 2 complete weeks, which if that happen we will see a lot of players not playing the olympics, which is not good. 2 weeks without playing for the points and money of the professional tour is impossible except for the top 10-20.   The only good is that in the LA dates there are no big tournaments, only 250, and the olympics could be a preparation for the US/Canada month ending in the US open so players will not have the excuse of the surface like last year.
    • To point out a mistake in the document. They say Artistic Swimming is back to being a women only sport. That is not true, men are still allowed to compete
