Looking at the team event situation a bit:
are the only countries that have qualified skaters in all four events. Importantly, is not needing any of it's host nation quotas.
Six countries are missing an entry for the team event: (Pairs), (Women's), (Ice dance), (Men's), (Ice dance), (Pairs).
So currently we only have nine countries that are even eligible for the team event. Presumably will eventually also be eligible.
There are only five additional athlete quotas available for the team event and the host nation (down from ten previously), so it is very likely that we will have some incomplete teams in the team event.
All ten countries mentioned above have a skater or pair that could compete in every event, except which currently has no elite pairs at all.
Best case realistic scenario for us to have a fully competitive team event, IMO, is for to qualify either a man or a woman, to qualify a woman, to qualify in pairs, to qualify in ice dance and then either qualify in men's or qualifies in both men's and women's. That way there would be enough additional quotas for us to have ten full teams (assuming can pull a competent pair out of somewhere)
Edit: I presume is also in with an outside shot at making the team event if they manage to qualify a pair.
What do you expect for The Opening Ceremony?
It will easily surpass US viewership of Paris 2024 opening ceremony in the US (28.6 million)
But will it surpass viewership of London 2012’s opening ceremony? (40 million)
I hope they will let Adeline Kerry Cruz to join the Olympic 2028 Opening Ceremony, she’s Canadian, and she will be 15 at that time.
