Brazil and Japan are already qualified by continental cham ;)

French cycling (all disciplines) was/is very male dominated. IIRC, the federation had until a few years ago one registered female cyclist for each 20 male ones...

Italy has been super strong in women's cycling for a good while, to be fair. There was always some Italian or another to beat Marianne Vos to her 520th consecutive silver

It is indeed a tricky calculation. :mumble:
I would say that it is still possible for Germany to loose the quota.

And in the end it can still happen, that they decline the quota (I think that was the case for Tokyo). :p
