Yes. Congrats :yes

Honestly, was kind of rooting a bit for Slovakia at the end of the game. Would have been a great story. Anyways, what a game and massive respect for the Slovakian team especially Gajan. Looks like bright days are ahead for Slovak hockey!

Also on another note, Connor Bedard is absolutely insane.

Thanks.

Yeah, we were really super-close from one of the biggest upsets in world hockey history since the :GBR Olympics gold in 1936 or so.  :p despite the fact that the loss hurts so much, really really hurts now, people in Slovakia are very proud of the boys. the coach evaluated it nicely in the post-match interviews. We can go home with our heads held high and proud, even though we currently cry a lot inside.

This 2003/04/05 generation is one of our best ever for sure. (16 players of the current roster are possible returnees also for the next year U20 champs, when we´ll add Slaf not released by Montreal this time we can send one quality team that is not easy to play against).

Bedard is a monster. Uncommon Generational talent. His skills and hockey IQ are so far above everyone else already now and he is still 3 years younger than most of his opponents. The kid will be one of the chosen-ones greats of this sport and kids will learn in history class about him :)
