is eyeing an 8th place finish and the government funding that comes with it (more important for the girls tbh). I believe 5th is our best place available if the girls perform at their top level. But I expect 6th-7th.

First two are pretty much untouchable, but look at them swarming for that third place.

If the pattern holds, Germany wins.

 

I'd like Slovenia or Russia to get the bronze.

Russia is out of it surely, but wonderful jump from Nika Kriznar, and Slovenia is very very in the fight for the bronze.
