Canada will most likely be rejecting 3 women's aerial's quotas and accepting all 4 men's quotas. US will probably accept all 8 quotas. -

She needs 51.8 points on this event, I think. At this same event last year, that would be the equivalent of 7th place. Guess we'll see! -

Yeah I was wondering the same thing, but both Canadians are crossed off the list. Whatever crossing off is meant to indicate. -
I do not understand why they did not give a W quota to to create a team. But maybe this quota will be allocated after the official rejection of both quotas. -

Probably the teams of 3 (and one team of 4) with elimination format is easiest to organise at short notice. Should scores reset after every elimination? Or is it better to accumulate the scores throughout? -
6 teams in the Aerials mixed team competition? What is this an additional team sport at the Summer Olympics? -

I think it may be something elimination based after each session: for example, in pairs going 17->13->10->8, in teams of 3 and 1 of 4 (worst result doesn't count) eliminating one team each going 11->10->9->8. Or it may be just totals from all of 4 sessions. For example, the basic one with just adding the scores or more interesting one with after each session gave points from 12 to 0 to best countries in each session. -
But there has been no opportunity to reject/ These are the quotas at the end of qualification. The 'rejections' start now.
