Sport Climbing: McArthur (3T4z 7 6, 5th) and Pope (2T3z 2 4, 9th) qualify. No luck for Milne (2T5z 9 11, 13th), Roberts (2T4z 8 6, 16th), or Phillips (2T3z 6 12, 18th). Athletes are ranked within their "Group", with ten per group qualifying. All of the Brits apart from Pope were in Group A.

38.960 in the Women's Team Sprint qualifying. We'll face :POL in the first round (proper).

Cycling: On the track, the men's team sprint team qualified 2nd in 35.638 and are safely through to the first round. The women's team pursuit team qualified for the first round in fourth in 4:19.800, while the men came in 4th and 3:55.998 also through to the first round. On the BMX park, Gornall (82.80, 2nd) and Reilly (82.15, 3rd) led the way for GB ahead of Brooks (14.70, 28th).

Sport Climbing: Thompson-Smith (16.31, 17th) qualified, while McNeice (31.82, 36th), Wood (39.50, 41st), Cameron (39.95, 42nd), and Neame (43.25, 44th) missed out.

The highlight of the day came in Artistic Gymnastics however, with Kinsella taking silver in the women's all-around final with a score of 54.132. Jessica Gadirova (52.698, 10th) and Achampong (52.098, 13th) also showed impressive performances in places. In terms of qualification, the GB team was 2nd in 162.129 and qualified for the final, while Jessica Gadirova (13.699, 2nd) qualified for the Floor final; Kinsella (13.966, 6th) and Fenton (13.900, 7th) qualified for the Uneven Bars final with Jessica Gadirova (12.833, 29th) and Achampong (12.233, 43rd) missing out; Achampong (13.266, 7th) qualifying for the Vault final, with Kinsella (13.033, 10th) first reserve and both Jennifer Gadirova (12.900, 16th) and Jessica Gadirova (12.233, 37th) missing out; and finally Jessica (13.766, 2nd) and Jennifer Gadirova (13.533, 6th) qualifying for the Floor final, with Kinsella (13.533, 7th) and Achampong (12.666, 25th) missing out. The Women's Double Sculls team came in third to qualify for Final A in a time of 7:24.36. Meanwhile, Arlett is a non-starter and is so eliminated from contention.

A bit of a nervy one but the Quadruple Sculls men are through to the Final A in third in 6:15.77!

Interesting early day on the cycling track.

The Women's Team Sprint team with a DNF won't be going forward. The men won their heat in 35.196, enough to qualify for the bronze final against :POL.

The Women's Team Pursuit team came 2nd in their heat in 4:18.455, enough for a bronze final against :ITA
