Swimming Qualification to Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024

I love the NBC swimming commentary team.   Still think that 400 free women will be tight in the Olympics.   Titmus is so above Ledecky it wouldn't even be close.

Only person I see possibly challenging Titmus is McIntosh, but I could also see her win bronze/finish 4th. Needs to figure out how to pace this event, she’s only been 3:56 once.

In the 2023 worlds Titmus won by 3 seconds.   Ledecky just got older since.   I would love her to win and get us another gold but let's be realistic.     800 and 1500 is more realistic for her

Yeah she will dominate the 800 and 1500 as she usually does

You're right, but they are US announcers talking to a US audience, and Rowdy is a bit of a homer.  NBC also wants to hype this race so the casual fans will watch on the first day.

Just re-read it. I believe he’s saying that the NBC commentators think it’ll be a tight race, while he doesn’t.

55.31

55.52

Walsh and Huske qualify for the Olympics in the women’s 100m butterfly.  Walsh will start as the marginal gold medal favourite.

55.62 for Smith as well, another PB!
