USA Diving reports that it got a second women’s 10m quota.

It was only a matter of confirmation. With Schnell doubling in platform, she automatically gave a spot to 2nd place finisher.

Frandiel Gomez Vargas, possibly the worst diver ever, apart from those Philippine guys at ASEAN Games some years ago.

But if he got the quota, it means JPN rejected their reallocated quota in men’s 3m.

Let’s hope so.

I mean, with the federation still on suspension and no prospects of the conflict being solved after this election, all it remains is someone reminded Alcala of this possibility.

And rather than Pineda, I’d have Chavez or Mendoza grab the spot.

In the end it looks like Mexico did not have the realocated quota

He placed 7th at the Pan Am Games in the 3m springboard. Ahead of Mexico, Canada, Jamaica and Puerto Rico competitors.

PanAm Games results are not that definite.

He is one of those competitors that usually flops easy dives at every competition, but he’s nowhere near the level everyone else entered in the event, and believe me, it will show.

I think they have not made it public not to start media speculation, or they rejected the place.

But the quota is theoretically Mexico’s.

Nur Dhabitah Sabri is confirmed by :MAS to confirm in women’s 3m springboard, which means:

1) Ukraine could have confirmed Viktoriya Kesar (sp?) as a double starter in 3m synchro and individual, or

2) Either :NOR  :NZL  or :MEX which were ahead of her and theoretically also had quotas, rejected their spot

3) Poland could benefit from either scenario as their diver is next on the list.

    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.

    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
