Thank you, @AIFHg but the African Federation calendar for 2019 shows an Olympic qualifying tournament in September
I did not find information about it.

It seems that the African women's qualification was modified last year
This document states that there will be a qualifying tournament at the end of 2019 in to define the african quota: https://cdn.dosb.de/user_upload/Olympische_Spiele/Tokio_2020/internationale_Qualifikationskriterien/IHF_-_Handball_20180315.pdf

Wow
For me, the perfect scenario to Brazil in womens in a group with: Norway, Russia, Montenegro, Argentina and Angola.
Norway is the best team in world and Brazil always had trouble against Russia in history, then it is preferable to escape the two in quarter-finals. Argentina and Angola are the weakest teams, which may allow Brazil rotate the squad and save energy if play sufficiently well.
In all, the quarter-finals will be very hard anyway.

That's what happens when stupid qualification system allows the 7th nation from the World Championships to have a much easier group than 4th and 6th teams.
It is a valid point of view, but the end result was the fairest. Denmark and Poland were the weakest teams in women's OQTs at the time when the competition has occurred.
ExpandI heard it actually was a pretty hard match against Japan in which we were often behind
I saw the match. Japanese goalkeeper was very good in the first half, and some Dutch were also careless in the attack. But in the second half the Dutch technical and physics superiority prevailed and the team ran over.
Edited by hukbrazilMontenegro and Romania secured the quotas. Denmark out.
Romania 32-25 Denmark. Romênia had +10 of advantage
Dutch team
Poland vs Russia had many and many mistakes on both sides. The polish wings were nonexistent.
It is amazing how Russia play under pressure against Poland. I could see the nervousness in their faces.
ExpandAt least nobody here is really worried about it. France are favorites against us, but we shouldn't have a problem with the other 2 nations and so still qualify anyway

Yeah, pretty much. Whatever happens tonight, both teams will go through anyway.
In fact Netherlands and France should have no problems. But a victory today means virtually guarantee a place in Rio, while a defeat assigns a pressure to win both two last games.
Anyway, Tunisia is quite depleted for this OQT.
ExpandTomorrow will be one of the most important matches in our women's handball in recent years, match against Russia in qualifications to Rio. Probably it will be key match. Fingers crossed for our girls
Do you have any news about Karolina Kudłacz-Gloc? I know she has a broken jaw. Poland had very bad luck with injuries in recent times
Tomorrow will be a very very nervous day. Three key games: Netherlands vs France, Romania vs Denmark and Poland vs Russia.
Expandguys anyone knows if the qualification tournaments next week will be live streamed anywhere?
Official stream in internet I don't know yet. But some matches will be broadcasted in TV, so probably we have "alternative" streams.
Olympic groups draw: 1 May 2016
Russia still playing with a very fast attack; 9 goals to Anna Vyakhireva today.
I am very excited for the OQT's

Here are the tournaments groups.
If Brazil can qualify, Brazilians will be in the most accessible tournament, with only one European, one American and one Asian. In the other two tournaments there will be three Europeans in each.
