:KOR South Korea becomes the 15th team officially qualified for the World Cup

I have to say it turned out to be a very easy group. Iran and Korea are 22 and 20 while the next team has just 9 pts.

in other group Japan beat KSA to make things more interesting for the last round. if Australia beats Oman (they are leading 1-0) it will be something like this
KSA 19, Japan 18, Australia 17

but still KSA can qualify by just beating a very bad Chinese team (they just lost to Vietnam!!) and send the loser of JPN/AUS match the playoffs. I believe both Japan and Australia are capable of beating the South American team but still it will be a very tough task if it's against Uruguay or Chile for example.

what i can say for Italy is that you cant always win for sure when you start with 4-6-0 or with forwards like belloti or immobile. Just remember what Italy had in attacker's position a few years before, Vieri, Inzaghi, Del Piero..

Let's have little UEFA trivia...

Still no european national team has played all other UEFA members at least once, but the team that is the closest to achieve this is still missing just 2 opponents (total UEFA members: 55, obviously they can't play themselves so it's 54 possible opponents).

What team is it? (clue: this nation has at least 1 active member in this forum)

:ITA  Italy breaks the record with 36th consecutive undefeated match :champion:  They should have won the match though, but just like us, very weak, when it came to the last shot. Berardi with an junior miss in the first half and Jorginho with yet another lame penalty. It's high time they chose someone else to take them. First place is definitely not guaranteed now.

Tite's tactic with a "false 9" didnt work. Also Vinicius should have taken more time
