  1. But yeah, France belongs to the French as much as it did yesterday, last year and 10 years ago. Just as much as it would have done with someone like Le Pen in the lead by the way.

  2. Bronze medal I think that was their best game in the whole tournament against a very strong team, our guys missed A LOT of chances in 3rd period, the gap could be bigger. this is only our 2nd medal in FIFA competitions (after Futsal bronze last year) btw that was also the first ever medal for the Asian teams. hard luck for Italy,

  4. well, in Wrestling they have a tradition in "buying" (better, taking advantage of their decisions...because I don't think they actually bought those athletes in the same way Azerbaijan, Qatar etc. - just to make an example - do) and not only in selling talents... remember the lights of the Nazarian, Moureiko, Guri...all of them winning global medals for Bulgaria, but coming from different Countries... by the way, we live in a global world, so to me it's quite normal to see athletes travelling to find better chances, like any other people do... the only thing that sports officials should do is avoiding - no matter how - shameful situations like those of Azerbaijan, Turkey and/or the Gulf Countries (and Greece in the past, nowadays I don't think they are a "threat" in that sense anymore)...

  5. the rules from 2005 to 2012 were much less dependent on the refs but unfortunately they were depended a lot on luck and ball draw. those rules were bad but fair at least. the current rules (with par-terre of course) are much better but only and only if the officiating is fair which is not nowadays. even with those rules we still had something like Minguzzi-Abrahamian match and much more. this is easy. they have to fight corruption but they don't. not sure if you watched the Olympic freestyle matches on the last day. the officiating was shameful, they had to act and banned some high degree referees just to calm everybody.

  7. Ingrid Klimke's leading round from yesterday. Can she become the first woman to win Badminton since 2007?
