Quota places are allocated to the NOC(s).

The Olympic Ranking is estabilished based on the FIVB Ranking Points earned at the 12 highest performances as a team in the 2023 FIVB Senior World Championships; Beach Pro Tour (Elite, Challenge, Future and Finals); recognised Continental Tours Finals (in case of multiple participation during the Qualification Period, only the best result will be considered) from 1 January 2023 until 9 June 2024.

The seventeen (17) highest ranked teams on the Olympic Ranking as of 10 June 2024 will each obtain one (1) quota place for their NOC to the Olympic Games Paris 2024, respecting the maximum of two (2) quota places per NOC.

In the event of a tie in the estabilished Olympic Ranking between two or more teams the following criteria will apply in the following order, to determine the team(s) obtaining a quota place for their NOC:

• 1. The total FIVB Ranking Points accumulated as a team in the 2023 FIVB Senior World Championships; Beach Pro Tour (Elite, Challenge, Future and Finals); recognised Continental Tours Finals (in case of multiple participation during the Qualification Period, only the best result will be considered) from 1 January 2023 until 9 June 2024;
• 2. The total number of events (the 2023 FIVB Senior World Championships; Beach Pro Tour (Elite, Challenge, Future and Finals); recognised Continental Tours Finals (in case of multiple participation during the Qualification Period, only the best result will be considered) the team has participated in from 1 January 2023 until 9 June 2024;
• 3. The highest FIVB Ranking Points obtained as a team in one single vent (either the 2023 FIVB Senior World Championships; Beach Pro Tour (Elite, Challenge, Future and Finals); recognised Continental Tours Finals (in case of multiple participation during the Qualification Period, only the best result will be considered) from 1 January 2023 until 9 June 2024; if still tied, the 2nd highest FIVB Ranking Points obtained as a team in one event; if still tied, then 3rd or 4th highest, estc. until the tie is broken. In the event the tie cannot be broken, the quota place will be allocated by a draw of lots held between the two (2) teams.

An athlete can earn a maximum of one (1) quota place for his/her NOC to Olympic Games Paris 2024. In the event that the same athlete(s) who already obtained the quota place for his/her NOC through the 2023 FIVB Beach Volleyball Senior World Championships, the next highest ranked eligible team on the Olympic Ranking List of 10 June 2024 will earn one (1) quota place for this NOC to the Olympic Games Paris 2024, respecting the maximum of two (2) quota places per NOC.
