Compliance with the Olympic Charter and other relevant rules
All athletes must respect and comply with the provisions of the Olympic Charter currently in force, including but not limited to Rule 41 (Nationality of Competitors) and Rule 43 (World Anti-Doping Code and the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of Manipulation of Competitions).
Only those athletes who respect and comply with the Olympic Charter, the World Anti-Doping Code, and the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions, including the conditions of participation estabilisted by the IOC, plus the rules of FIS, may participate in the Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026.
C.1. - Age requirements
To be eligible to participate in the Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026, athletes must be born on or before 1st January 2011 in accordance with Article 406.1. The Age Classification of Competitors of the International Ski Competition Rules.
C.2. - Medical requirements
To be eligible to participate in the Olympic Winter Games 2026, all athletes must satisfy the medical requirements in accordance with Article 221: Medical Services, Examinations and Doping of the International Ski Competition Rules (ICR).
C.3. - Additional IF Requirements
C.3.1. -Qualification Eligibility Criteria
An athlete is eligible for selection by their NOC only if s/he has gained at least one (1) FIS World Cup or Grand Prix point during their career, or at least one (1) Continental Cup (respectively Inter-Continental Cup for women) point during the qualification period (1 July 2024– 18 January 2026).
C.3.2. - Participation in Men's Super team and Mixed Team events
Participation in the Men's Super team and Mixed Team events are only open to Ski Jumping athletes who have qualified to participate in the individual Ski Jumping events in the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
Nordic Combined athletes who have qualified to participate in the individual Nordic Combined events (according to the Qualification document Nordic Combined Milano Cortina) will be allowed to participate in the Ski Jumping Team events.
This rule applies for a maximum of one (1) Nordic Combined athlete and only for NOCs that have been allocated one (1) or two (2) quota places in the Ski Jumping Allocation List.
An NOC with two (2) Ski Jumping athletes qualified, can replace with one Nordic Combined athlete a maximum of one of the Ski Jumping qualified athlete in case of injury or sickness.
The athletes from Nordic Combined must meet the athlete's eligibility in section C and the qualification eligibility criteria as described in Section C.3 of the Nordic Combined Qualification System and must be entered in the Nordic Combined events.
