  4. Well, that is a bit too more complicated in fact 1) he was born in the Czech Republic to Czech parents, but to be fair, he lived in Austria since his childhood. There he learned to ski. As he said he has not so many relations to czechia now anymore, he barely remember last time he was there and he basically said he has no friends anymore there at all for example. 2) The Austrian Federation offered him before this season better conditions, which he obviously took advantage of. Possibilities and condittions he would never had the chance to receive in CZE. https://www.idnes.cz/sport/lyzovani-snowboarding/matej-svancer-akrobaticke-lyzovani-prestup-cesko-rakousko-big-air.A210330_184239_lyzovani_ten
  5. Petra super happy with her 3rd place in SVK TV interview, all smiling, super cool, jumping and huging all around...what a change Maybe that "divorce" with Magoni was a good thing at the end, hmm
  6. how is possible yo could not notice that ? There was almost nothing else this summer in the Alpine Skiing gossip world
  7. Podium Congrats to Shiffrin, I´ll take her this one rather than next February and also Nice to see Lara Gut finishing a GS for once
  8. Top 10 secured for MT Tviberg
  9. Czech commentator: Surprising that still nobody DNF in the 2nd run, quite impressive, right ? ...literally 5 seconds later. Brignone DNF
  10. what a run from Tilley
  11. oh wait, wrong picture. sorry, it was more red than orange to be fair
  12. You mean this ? yeah, seems like some inexplicable guilty fetish
  13. So winning the Olympics 100 & 4x100 gold medals are not enough to be even among the nominated for the Athlete of the year, if you not named Usain apparently
  14. That orange style
  15. Something you do not see often. A player scoring 2 goals in the last minute to tie the game. Libor Hudáček showing his good form. Scored two goals in the very last minute 2nd match played after his trade from Nizhnekamsk last week and already 4 goals scored
  16. well, or maybe not

  22. Not exactly IOC but.. I´ll put it here Anton Siekel was elected again as NOC president for the next Olympic period (until Paris 2024) Danka Barteková (Shooting - Skeet, current athlete), Miroslav Šatan (SVK Ice Hockey legend, most caps, most goals etc...nowadays SVK Ice Hockey federation president) and Peter Korčok (Athletics Federation president) were all elected as our NOC vice presidents Anastasiia Kuzmina (Biathlon retired legend and only female to win 3 olympic gold medals at 3 consecutive WOG in this sport), Matej Tóth (Athletics Race Walking former olympic champion), Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková (Shooting-Trap, our only Tokyo gold medalist) or Jozef Gonci (Shooting, first ever slovak olympic medalist since the independence) are among the SVK NOC elected Commission members.
  23. Igor Polanski officially banned for 3 years due doping (EPO). He was also subsequently expelled from the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, where he finished 43rd. They also removed the ROC mixed relay from the 14th place in the result list. I am not going to start about the fact ITU invited him through realloction quota instead of Richard Varga (who was 1st under the line) only to form the mixed relay team... Karma is a bitch
