We managed to finish last in both Discus Throw competitions..definitely not our best discipline ..but again, considering that in the past we had some good athletes in this event, especially a world and european champion and Olympic medalist Imrich Bugár it´s really sad to see how deep we dropped

Zdeněk Štybar won the title after a huge attack in the last climb second finished Josef Černý winning his second medal this week after the time trial one last Thursday. 3rd finished Juraj Sagan and became once again Slovak National champion. Czech bronze went to Petr Vakoč beating Roman Kreuziger in the sprint. Slovak silver is for Peter Sagan winning the main group sprint ahead of Slovak bronze medalist Erik Baška.

We still can perfectly finish last, I really don´t understand where you took this certitude. I see only 1 quite probable good result (to not say win) today by Volko in 200m, I have strong doubts that anyone else will finish in the top half of their races

yeah. congrats you must be proud of your big football nation. you deserved the qualification. and yes they celebrated after the game. the whole team jumped after the final whistle with huge smiles...nothing new for German football just like in 1982. but let it be I´m done with this..who watched the match know what I mean..congrats and good luck in the final games.
