Indian Badminton Performance at the Asian Games 2018 Nothing much to show other than our queens Saina was impressive for her Bronze Sindhu again was agonizing close for a Gold n missed again to get Silver Rest of the team was a huge let down.

Indian athletics Performance at the Asian Games 2018 Women 100m - Dutee did the best n got Silver though not NR 200m - Dutee again did the best n got Silver though not NR - Hima intentionally DSQ due to relay schedule 400m - Hima registered the NR and got the silver - Nirmala did a not so impressive run n finished 4th 1500m - Chithra finished 3rd 3000mSC - Sudha did a normal run for the Silver 400mH - Anu was good for 4th and Jauna was okay for 5th 4x400m Relay - It was just awesome though not a NR Hammer - was a ok from Saritha Discus - Seema produced the best she could do at this prime time for Bronze Javelin - Anu needs some competition to keep her interest Long Jump - Neena was good for Silver Nayana was disappointing Heptathlon - Swapna did PB and got Gold with the pain throughout Purnima was average Mixed Relay 4x 400m was good for Silver Road events were horrible

Indian athletics Performance at the Asian Games 2018 Men 400m - Md Anas 45.30 was just short of NR 45.24 but was a good performance. Rajiv Arokia 45.84 was PB and finished 4th 800m - Jinson - Though not his best timings finished with Silver Manjit - 1:46.15 was the PB and got the Gold 1500m - Jinson - Again not the best timings finished with the Gold Manjit - Not best timing and finished 4th 400mH - Dharun with NR did the best for the Silver - Santhosh too did the PB n finished 5th 4x400m Relay - was a good performance and Got Silver Javelin - Neeraj with another NR to claim the gold Shivpal with bad throw finished 8th High Jump - Chethan was a ok performance Sreeshankar - 7.95m was good considering comeback trail after the lay-off Triple Jump - Though not great distance Arpinder was lucky to get the Gold Shot Put - Tejinder produced the PB and together registered the GR n NR

Horrible draws for India for the BWF Japan Open World tour 750 event....Shocked with the draw literally cant see India to be for more than 2-3 days barring Sindhu. If they need then need upsets which looks unlikely.

Indian Archery Team Performance in Asian Games Compound archers as always been the best bet for India. With the loss of individual events though lost the chance there very much satisfied with the performance, though heartbreak in Men's team finals, but it was fight of nerves n most exciting. Recurve archers again disappointed with the bad performance.

Seriously think these guys need a strong international training to be more effective for next CWG n AG. Olympics medal is though out of reach qualifying with good timing n doing well should be the stepping stone for next CWG n AG.

If you don't send for international exposure, how can the players improve the standard. If they were selected for AG 2104 & CWG 2018 they would surely in AG 2018 would have got near to 400 points... That's the problem in India, we don't encourage the talent. we don't have the habit of growing talents...

E-sports is the future...Have seen robotics games, computer games contest. These would surely sneak. Since nowadays all works with the mind hence these would suit that concept very much and cost effective also...

Good start by the Indian Juniors in the championships. Hope we land with few quota would be cherry in the cake....

I am always for the performance rather than medals....U perform and the reward will follow you...I will start with individual analysis of Asian Games slowly rather than medal wise will do performance wise..

eventually we would have esports in Olympics because of so much video games all extra events would be cut n these would be accommodated. Since logistics would be of not much issue.
