A bad vibe in one sport can destroy the mood of the entire contingent. Imagine in sports village Paes sitting separate and rest of the tennis team separate. same if Sushil is sent with preference over narsingh imagine the state of mind of rest of the sportsperson.

I am not creating gossip, The fact is he is not playing Davis Cup for India from last year. No idea what is the reason, So the bottom line now stands with Davis Cup partner or best ranking player. Are we going to see Tsonga playing with the top ranked player in doubles or play another French in the ranking. In Indian cricket too we had same issue, Players not getting along with captain and system are thrown out to stop bad vibes and not that they are not good. No one counter still that viru is not good than Dhawan. Gauti is worst than Dhawan. Same goes with other countries also. Its not that Paes is bad or Rohan is bad. Story is good vibes and better atmosphere to play.

The whole story now stops at one point, Paes has refused to play Davis Cup this year and the partner for Rohan is Saketh in Davis Cup from last year itself. Saketh is the integral part of Indian system. If Paes is so much interested to play let him play doubles with Rohan in Davis Cup. Which is not happening from last year.

India’s most decorated Davis Cup player Leander Paes and the country’s foremost singles star Somdev Devvarman are both set to miss the second round of the Davis Cup Asia-Oceania Group I tie against South Korea to be held in Chandigarh from July 15 to 17. The tie, which comes a month prior to the Rio Olympics, will be played on grass — Paes’ favoured surface. But it is learnt that the 42-year-old, who is gunning for his seventh Olympic games, had made himself unavailable for Davis Cup duties at the start of year. Paes last played for India in the dispiriting loss to the Czech Republic last September in the World Group playoff.
