All 8 ISL clubs and 3 I-League clubs have shown interest to participate in the Inaugural Indian Women's League along with a few clubs from various states. There could be a qualifying round if more than a set numbers of teams wish to field a team. BUT due to "FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS' the league will be played at a single venue. And is expected to kick-off somewhere between October-November.

Annu Rani won the women’s javelin gold with 54.63m, Suman Devi, the other Indian in the event, had a ‘no mark’ against her name. Srabani Nanda was fifth in the women’s 200m in 23.84s. Sini A. Markose (Sinimol Paulose) was 16th in women’s 1500m in 4:31.97 Sajeesh Joseph was ninth in the men’s 800m in 1:51.37.

With this effort he climbs only a place in world ranking, But in Fedex list he climbs to 88th place from 101...that's important for him for future...
