In the middle of tennis and Nita in IOC we had a wonderful show from the women Hockey team were Australia beat India by 2-1 in last match of 4 nations hockey tournament match played today. I think we would play Japan for the 3rd place...Good to have a go against them again. Good outing for India in this tournament..

what has so many people who had represented India have achieved so far.. Its good to have a mix of all fields to run a Sports body so it can be promoted perfectly. Who else from India qualifies for that...No sports person is so powerful to have a fan following to promote the sports.

@shrikant @nitinsanker if we have seen Football and Basketball fame for India in International level its because of her foundation RIL - IMG foundation is very promising and has been training many youngsters. So just claiming her has business women with money is wrong.. She has done very well has chairperson of ISL.

We need to stop the discussion on who will he select...I think he would not select Bhupathi and would go with Saketh Myneni they are our Davis Cup partners. so we need to stop this controversy and think about other things.

All 8 ISL clubs and 3 I-League clubs have shown interest to participate in the Inaugural Indian Women's League along with a few clubs from various states. There could be a qualifying round if more than a set numbers of teams wish to field a team. BUT due to "FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS' the league will be played at a single venue. And is expected to kick-off somewhere between October-November.

Joshna Chinappa has risen to a career-best 11th place in latest rankings , Dipika Pallikal also improved her position by a rung to be 18th. Saurav Ghosal, who is nursing an injury, moved up a spot to be 17th in the men's rankings.
