  1. Him winning is not enough, he has to score really high, I believe more than 15.330 which rareely happens even for great athletes such as Petrounidas. But he did it in European Championships so I would say he has 50% chance
  2. Yes it is literally an olympic gold or not for Petrounidas and Greece. Although it will reduce İbrahim Çolak’a chances at olympics I still suppprt Petrounidas. An athlete this good should be at the olympics.
  3. As you can see I am using “If”, I have no idea medically and I am not outright against transgender to compete with women. But if they have an advantage due to biology I do not think they should be able to
  4. If they have a certain big advantage against other competitors, they are doing harm though, don't they? I do not watch weightlifting a lot anymore since you do not know who will be doped and at least 25% of all medal winners will be. So I feel that I am deceived. It is very similar in this case, they are not biologically women, they can have much more testosterone than other athletes. So, they would have huge advantage against others. If we allow this I do not see why we do not allow men who wants to compete in women competitions? What is different between a man who identifies as a woman and a transgender in this sense?
  5. What is yout argument? Do you think transgender women should be able to compete against biological ones? Why do you think so? How do you respond to effects of hormonal differences? You should defend your approach rather than just blaming others of not caring and just shouting
  6. This is bullshit, why would you measure the closest shot, just let them shoot, just one more arrow what is a big deal, what kind of rule is this?
  7. What are the chances that Vietnam, Romania and Colombia will be banned?
  8. Well I understand staying in defence and looking for counterattacks against Italy but I think we overdid it with the fear of losing the first game. We need to have better counterattacks in the second half. Also I also think it was a penalty, it is a shame the hand rule is still not clear after 150 years of football history. They should stop changing it it.
  9. That is interesting, as Turkey we also have these kind of excuses for not being reguees but not being successful. I wonder does it ever happen in Germany or France that a sportsman or sportswoman say they are not successfull/happy because their spouse are not their coach
  10. Including kata into olympics rather than 4 kumite events was a hugr mistake. It gives a great argument to those who do not want to see karate at olympics.
  11. Sorry, I thought of European championships
  12. I do not understand this, Mete Gazoz eliminated before quarterfinals, how come we have a qf in mens? Aren’t we talking about recurve?
  13. How much point difference can be created by only this tournament? I do not think so but is it possible to close 1300 points? I am asking for Men 67 kg
  14. My predictions for Turkey I think we will exceed 2016 (1G-3S-4B) because we have almost 2 times more medal contestants thanks to better athletes in Karate, Gymnastics, Taekwondo, Boxing and Judo. Gold: 2 Candidates for gold: 1) Rıza Kayaalp (Greco-Roman wrestling - Men)2) Taha Akgül (Freestyle wrestling - Men)3) Serap Özçelik (Karate - Women)4) Uğur Aktaş (Karate - Men)5) Busenaz Sürmeneli (Boxing - Women)6) Nur Tatar (Taekwondo - Women) Silver: 3 Candidates for silver: 1) Süleyman Atlı (Freestyle wrestling - Men) 2) Vedat Albayrak (Judo - Men) 3) İbrahim Çolak (Artistik Gymnastics - Men) 4) Hatice Kübra İlgün (Taekwondo - Women 5) Yasemin Adar (Freestyle wrestling - Women) 6) All gold medal canditates who cannot win gold Bronze: 6 Candidates for bronze: 1) Ramil Guliyev (Athletics 200 M- Men) 2) Yasmani Copello (Athletics 400 MH- Men) 3) Kerem Kamal (Greco-Roman wrestling - Men) 4) Kayra Sayit (Judo - Women)5) Ferhat Arıcan (Artistic Gymnastics - Men)6) Ali Sofuoğlu (Karate - Men)7) Merve Çoban (Karate - Women)8) Buse Naz Çakıroğlu (Boxing - Women)9) Hüseyin Emre Sakçı (Swimming - Men)10) Rukiye Yıldırım (Taekwondo - Women)11) Women volleyball team (Volleyball) 12) Mete Gazoz (Archery - Men) 13) Muhammed Furkan Özbek (Weightlifting - Men) 14) Salih Korkmaz (Athletics - Men) 15) All gold and silver medal canditates who cannot win gold or silver
  15. 16. I think your understanding and explanation are correct, this is what I understand from the wording in the official document as well. Thanks for the reply.
  17. By the way what happens to host quota if Japan already qualifies in top 8? Also how does tripartite commission quota is selected, are there any criteria?
  18. That’s saddening, I do not understand why don’t they just qualify the weightlifters with best record. Thank you for the comment though
  19. Do you think Daniyar İsmayilov will be able to take a quota?
  20. Wrestling not being cool is your own opinion, for many nations wrestling is one of the coolest sports. Like every olympic sports there are nations which like them and there are which do not. It is only fair that the ones which like the sport are more successful. Anyway, I do not like naturalizing, buy I also have a problem with people acting like only Turkey or Azerbaijan do it. Maybe they do it more, but what I saw today was almost any country does it if they see a good opportunity.
  21. Our own Kılıcsallayan lost against Mukhtarov from 8-0 lead. I guess it was better for him not to go to the olympics if he cannot keep an 8-0 lead. Also I know that Turkey often is criticized for naturalizing athletes but I see names from Dagestan everywhere in this tournament, mostly in European teams. Are all these guys were born in Europe rather than Dagestan really?
